"So, where are we going?" I ask for the fourth time still waiting for a response.

Again, no reply. I sigh deeply and throw my head against the seat, mentally planning how to murder Niall for being such a prick. Tyler doesn't even know me, and I him, yet I'm sitting I'm his car headed somewhere that's not home. My phone is on the verge of death but I still decide to use it. Rather than sitting in uncomfortable silence, I plug in my headphones and start listening to the 1975.

He doesn't even flinch when it blasts on full volume from my headphones, just keeps driving with no emotion splayed across his face. Eventually, I just turn and look at the window, wondering what kind of mess I've gotten myself in to now.

I awake with a jolt as a loud noise emits from somewhere around me. I didn't even remember dozing off in the first place.

I'm sitting alone in the car in the middle of a clearing surrounded by trees. There's a tiny cottage sitting in the middle. It makes me think of Little Red Riding Hood, and how a wolf tricked me into sacrificing my family.

Slowly, and quietly, I open the car door and step out. Careful not to let myself be known. I begin to creep up towards the steps, trying to control my breathing. I take a quick look around before slowly reaching for the door. Surprisingly; it's open.

The house is completely silent when I walk in. There's dusty furniture and old equipment lying around. I walk into the kitchen and grab an old frying pan and a rusty knife for protection.

In the den, there's a large rug covering the floor and it covered in something dark and sticky. The dinning room has a chandelier that's just barely hanging on, it's light a flickering mess. There's a set of stairs that I assume lead to the bedrooms upstairs.

The damp, sticky air sticks to my skin making me cringe. There's a horrid smell. I'm not sure where it's coming from with all 3 doors being closed. I walk to every door, quieter than I've ever been. The first one has a old bed frame with vials and tube cracked with green mush. The closet is empty except for a big bag of sweaty socks.

Strange choice.

The second door closest to me is a bathroom. It's old, grimy, and dirty. Dried blood and vomit coating the bottom of the tub. The toilet seat is yellow like a school bathroom, with a ring all around the bowl. All across the floor, dirt is caked in the cracks between the tiles and the knobs for the sink and shower are nonexistent.

Process of elimination told me that the last door had to be where the smell was coming from. My anxiety started building up and I had a feeling that behind that door was something bad. Cautiously, I turned the knob and cracked open the door to the small cell like room.

Immediately, I was hit with the aroma, just a lot stronger than before. Inside were two girls who were chained up and dirty. The smell was a mixture of blood, vomit, and urine.

I gasped loudly.

They were a deathly pale. One appeared to be only about 6 years old, with strawberry blonde hair and super skinny. The older girl had long brown hair cut in odd angels. She was at least 15 and had blood around her wrists and mouth.

Quickly, I ran to help them. The girl was sleeping and smelled very foul. They were tied with thick rope that I knew I couldn't untie myself. I remembered the vials in the first room and quickly grabbed some before rushing back.

I cut the bounds from their hands and feet as fast as my anxiety would allow. Gently, I shook them awake. Wide brown eyes gazed at me in fear.

What have they done to this poor child.

"It's okay. I promise I'm not going to hurt you. We have to get out quick before someone comes back. Don't make a sound." I whisper to the child. She nodded and stretched, trying to get her blood flowing as I helped the other girl.

She was unconscious and I was worried because she lost so much blood and they were so weak and frail. I lifted her over my shoulder, she wasn't even the slightest bit heavy.

The little girl had enough energy to make it down the stairs. We got a quick drink of water and a stale packet of saltines from the kitchen. Outside was clear still so we got to the car as fast as we could and I put them both in the backseat.

I could hear commotion and froze. It started getting louder and I wasn't sure where it's source came from. I hopped into the driver's seat and used all my brain power trying to remember how to hot wire a car so we could get the heck out of here.

Magically, it roared to life and I thanked God and Google for helping us.

The noises were closer and I quickly drove away down a dirt path, no idea where I was. I typed my address into my phone for directions and plugged it into the charger so that it would be able to guide us back.

Shouting and loud noises could be heard in the distance even with the noise of rock on tire. The little girl was silently crying while trying to coax water into the older girl. I realized that she hasn't woken yet, and changed it to the closest hospital. It was 40 miles away.

We got there as fast as we could and raced into the emergency section. They took both the girls and told me to wait in the lobby while they were taken care of. It's been 3 hours and no one's told me anything. I'm still about an hour and a half away from my house. My parents must be so worried. I couldn't afford calling them.

A doctor finally came out and gave me the report. They're good to go. She lost a lot less blood than it seemed, but they're gonna be weak for a while due to malnutrition and an unstable environment for an undetermined amount of days. They did a rape kit and both were fine and since I was 18, they were free to come with me.

The little one came out with a shy smile and slowly rolling tears pushing the other one in a wheel chair. She ran up and gave me a big hug that made me want to cry myself. The other one was a little dazed from her medication the doctor prescribed, but she managed a smile anyhow. When we got back to the car, I gave them my lunch I didn't eat and promised them a real meal as soon as they were safe.

My phone died long ago and I didn't have the feeling that I would need it once we got far away from that wretched place. I snuck the girls in through the back door. The little blonde one was Spencer, and the older one was Anastasia. They were sisters, 7 and 16.  Neither had the strength to tell me the story behind it all, so I took them up to my room and let them shower, borrow some clothes, and rest.

When I walked downstairs though, surprise surprise. Everyone who's name I could remember were sitting in my house speaking frantically. All about me. I didn't want to disturb, so I went to the kitchen, warmed some leftovers, took it upstairs, and came back down and sat on an unoccupied seat.

Everyone noticed me then, and the room went silent.

"Luna, where the hell have you been?"
