As Colin woke up he felt the warm stones and the smell of burning fires. He jumped up and looked around. "Nothing" he said. He ran to the window and saw through to the fresh corpses from the deteriorating village fire. He turns around and heads to the door and punches the door. As it clatters to the ground he hears the screams from the other inmates. They see him running down the hall and as he looks at them he realizes that he forgot about the suppression cuffs. He looks down and only sees his hands and he turns around to see the cuffs against the bars with the letters v.d.f. He turns and runs but can't help in thinking what vampire/vampires fufilled any of his numerous debts for both sides. Little did he know what was happening with that vampire.
