Lyra POV

Vassiah: I just don't know what to do

Me: it's gonna be okay V, Just give him some time

Vassiah: I guess anyway let's stop talking about me and him, when are you and Mateo gonna get together

Me: I don't know

Vassiah: y'all really need to stop playing and get together

Me: Fine, how bout you put us together

Vassiah: already know

I laughed.

Me: I'm sleepy well good night

Vassiah: Night night

I chuckled and went to sleep.

I woke up and saw we was still on the road. I went to the bathroom and showered. I got dressed in this

I went to the front and saw everybody sleep except Mateo and of course Morris cuz he was driving.

Mateo: When did you become a early bird

Me: I don't even know

I went to the kitchen and grabbed me an water. I sat next to Mateo who was on his phone.

Mateo: You was about to beat Jade's ass yesterday

Me: surely was, good thing Zay stopped me because she would've been in the hospital

He chuckled.

Mateo: you a meanie

Me: not really

Mateo: you are

Vassiah came out.

Vassiah: good morning

Mateo: hey

Me: morning

She grabbed herself something to eat and went to the back.

Mateo: why you smiling

Me: I was thinking about something

Mateo: about what

Me: my future

Mateo: oh, what was it about

I looked at him.

Me: why you wanna know

Mateo: damn I was just asking

I laughed. I laid my head on his lap and got on my phone.

Mateo: who gave you permission to lay on my lap

Me:  me the fuck

He sucked his teeth which caused me to laugh.

~1 hour later~

Mateo: shorty wake up

I opened my eyes. I saw we was still driving.

Me: why you wake me up nigga

Mateo: I gotta use the bathroom

I huffed and sat up. He got up and went to the back.I swear the more I hang with him the more I fall for him.

But do I wanna go with someone that use to bully me? What if he hurt me? What will Jade Do? Fuck her. Ughhhh!! Thoughts!!!!

I saw Mateo Walk out the back. Fuck it.

I grabbed his arm and kissed him.

Zay: FINALLY

Zay yelled. We kissed for a few more seconds and then pulled away.

Mateo stood there shocked and Confused.

Mateo: what was that For?

Me: I love you, I just can't stand being friends with you I have to be with you

Jade: No you dont hoe! That's my man!!

Mya: Shut the fuck up, the more you talk the more I wanna beat your ass more

Ayo chuckled.

Zay: so, are y'all together?

Us: duhh

Zay: damn, my bad

He said putting his hands up which caused us to laugh.

We sat down. The bus stopped. We saw we was at IHOP.

Morris: guys we're getting something to eat

Us: okay

We boarded off the bus and headed inside. Morris got us an table. We ordered and started talking.

~1 hour later~

We walked out of IHOP and on to the bus.

Morris: 3 more hours we got to get to Memphis

I went in the back and turned on Tyler perry For better or Worse. (I swear I love that show).

Mya walked in.

Mya: heyy buddy

Me: hey

Mya: guess what and Ima need you not to tell nobody

Me: Okay, wassup?

Mya: okay so you remembered yesterday how Vassiah and Ayo was fussing

I nodded.

Mya: well, Vassiah told me she like me

Me: what!

Mya: shhh!! I know, don't tell nobody

Me: okay

We sat back and watched for better or worse.
