Testament to My Worth

I do what I do,

because I am who I am.

If I didn't jump right in,

head first into the heat of it all,

then I wouldn't be me,

I would have nothing to show

that I was here,

and I lived through it all.

If I speak for the dead,

then I must live as if I was always alive,

for there should never be a moment

in anyone's life where they should regret.

We as humans will never truly regret

the actions that we choose to make.

For we will never know the outcome

without us in this life.

And the good moments,

the happy moments,

would never had occurred

had we not been on this earth.

So this is a testament,

a written journal of my worth,

for all to see and all to hear,

to inspire the lives of us all,

to tell the dreamer in us all

that he can live with us, among us,

and most importantly,

that he can guide us into the dark.
