The tribes.

Natsu had been on the run after the Fairy Tail incident 4 days ago, the grueling city life seemed to have been nullifying his new relationship, now here Natsu was, in the jungle, Natsu leapt from tree to tree, branch to branch as he roamed the jungle in order to find the deer tribe.

Now, one thing to note is that as the 6 secret years (of raising Arashi) had gone by, Natsu had done a few things, his pinkish (or salmon, your pick) hair had grown much, much longer, some were already braided into pony tails, Natsu's shoulders grew broad, his muscles were much more enlarged, his body was stronger, more endurant and much more resilient than before.

Natsu heard the buzzards flying overhead, the bath of jungle heat spreading over the jungle floor like it was hot rain, Natsu sniffed the scent in the trees, the path to the deer tribe was close by, there was a simple dirt path the people of the tribe used to move around.

There were 6 tribes in the Gequi jungle, first there was the Deer Tribe, and then there was the Puma Tribe, the Vulcan Tribe, Buzzard Tribe, Snake Tribe and the last and least, the Wolf Tribe.

The Wolf Tribe was an utterly pathetic tribe, weak, poor, overconfident and overpopulated. The most outstanding achievement that tribe had gotten was being able to survive this long. In fact the tribe was almost completely razed out by the Bear Tribe if it weren't for a few survivors. The people of the wolf tribe were more like rabbits than wolves, weak, not proficient in battle, mostly chose to run away, had far more bark than bite, and the wolf tribe only exists for the same reasons rabbits are still alive, they breed so much their population grows big, but sadly 'strength in numbers' wasn't a trait of theirs, even within their own kingdom they were tearing each other apart. The bears survive because they know what to do, The buzzards survive because they're professionals with their mind games and coordination, the wolves on the other hand only survive because people felt sorry for them, they damned the image of the wolves, tarnished it. They were so weak they couldn't even stay in the mountains, which was their original home.

The Snake Tribe is a sexist, male-dominated tribe that focuses on pretty much ruling the east, that was all.

The Buzzards on the other hand were the fear that rattles the night, up in the trees with their contraptions, the buzzard tribe ruled the Gequi Jungle's west and center from middle afternoon to moonset. The buzzards carry this weird power which could be considered anti-magic, which is why they do not fear wizards and witches. Natsu had learned their skills during Arashi's time growing up for the war against the swamp.

The Bear Tribe needed no introduction, they ruled the north of the Gequi jungle, the one close to the mountains, the Bears have a huge reputation for being the second richest (second to the Deer) and the strongest of the tribes. With axe and fire, with hammer and bone, with meat and steel they ruled the dangerous north as the most dangerous warriors ever to set foot in the jungle.

But if there were to a tribe considered a match for the Bears, it would be the Puma Tribe, with strength, accuracy and more, the Puma Tribe is a dangerous tribe that rules the North East, where the "Tree of Spirits" lie.

The Vulcan tribe was a numbskulled tribe, with idiotic rulers and the obvious trope of brawn over brains, some say they were the descendants of early prehistoric Vulcans. This tribe almost split apart after numerous civil wars.

And of course, the Deer Tribe, Natsu's favorite, the richest tribe located in the southwest, the most passive as well, the people have their wonderful traditions and have an undying compassion as well as hospitality. The Deer Tribe is actually the reason for why the Wolf Tribe became (or started out as) a laughing stock, fraud after fraud, chances and opportunities easily pulled the money beneath their feet in within days. While the Deer Tribe apologized for their past actions decades ago, it was evident that the money they have back was insufficient as the wolves were far too overpopulated and lacked land for their crops a d muscle for their hunts.

Natsu travelled as he sensed the smell of wolf people, the deer tribe was close by. Natsu hid under the brush as he lends out his ears for the steps of wolves, or wolf people, but not a sound.

It seems his passage was to be peaceful, as Natsu finds the path to the deer tribe and walks the dirt path
