Chapter 1
Jennifer's POV
It had been what seemed like eternities since mom and Murphy died; it had only been minutes. Now I have no one. Dad, well he left me and mom when I was young. 23 years later, my mom met someone else and had my little sister Murphy. Murphy was only about 5 when the world went to shit.
It's been a year and a half since this all started. I haven't seen any of my friends since a few weeks ago, when I watched my best friend Katie get torn to peices by one of the geeks.
Anyway so today it was Murphy's birthday so I went out on a run to get stuff for a little surprise for Murphy. I had the greatest gifts for her! But it was stupid to think that Murphy was gonna have a good life again in this pathetic world we live in now......
