Craig was sat in the dugout of the softball field with River strapped to his chest watching his team play Softball against a team from a different state. He watched his two girls, Briar and Hazel run around trying to catch the ball.

He was so proud of his little girls for being the way they are. His team had a massive lead and the other wasn't going to catch up anytime soon.

He moved his gaze from the softball field to over where the audience are. There was one certain person sticking out to him. Robert Small.

He sighed and waved at him seeing if he would notice him, which he did and he nodded his head in acknowledgement and went back to watching the game.

Craig sighed and turned away from him feeling his eyes tear up. He had spent a wonderful night with Robert and now he couldn't even talk to him.

He lifted River out of the baby carrier, placed her on the ground with a few toys around her and took the baby carrier off and placed it next to his bag and stood up to straighten himself.

He needed to get away from the field for a bit. He asked one of the softball moms to look after River while he went to get something from his car. She happily obliged and Craig walked away from the field but before he left, he took one glance at the field and then one at Robert who wasn't paying attention.

Craig left the softball field and soon the tears he had kept back started to fall down his face as he walked over to some place that was private.

He found an alleyway that wasn't far from the field and slumped against the wall as the tears fell down his face and tried to not make any noise that could lead people to where he was.

He sat there for at least half an hour until the tears had stopped falling and he had calmed down and had a bit of time to himself.

He quickly stood up and suddenly felt really dizzy so he leaned against the wall to try to support him and stop him from falling.

He decided to slowly walk back to the field but when he was walking, he felt a wave of nausea come over him which made him double over in pain.

He felt like he was going to be sick so he went back to the alleyway he was in and threw up all what was in his stomach which automatically made him feel even more ill.

He was stood in the alleyway for at least 5 minutes before he felt like he was not going to be sick anymore so he slowly walked back to the field fighting waves of nausea and a really bad headache.

Once he reached the field, he saw the game had nearly finished and that his team was still winning with a massive lead. He reached the dugout and the game had finished and his team was walking over to where he was sat.

He took out a bottle of water out of his bag and a couple of painkillers. He placed the painkillers in his mouth and took a long drink of water. He placed the cap on the water and placed it down next to his bag.

He stood up to go congratulate his team on winning the game when another strong wave of dizziness made him fall onto his knees...

He started to feel sick like he did earlier but before he could tell anyone, he was sick and fell to the floor. He felt someone catch him and lower him to the floor but he wasn't sure who it was. Everyone started to crowd him trying to wake him up but it wasn't working.

Craig was conscious for at least 20 seconds after he collapsed. All he could hear was people's voices and people panicking and then soon after the lights went out...

Robert knew that he needed to talk to Craig about what happened a few weeks ago and how he was sorry about ignoring him.

The game had ended and he started to walk down to the dugout to talk to Craig. He had saw that Craig had gone somewhere during the game and had only just arrived back and Robert could see he wasn't quite himself.

Halfway down the stairs to the dugout, he could see Craig was not very well. His normally tanned face had turned pale and he was quite sluggish.

Robert became very worried when he saw Craig collapse to his knees, holding his stomach. Robert ran down the stairs as fast as he could and watch as Craig was sick and went to collapse on the ground. He rushed over to him and laid his head in his lap as they waited for the ambulance to arrive...
