Mercy,

118 28 70

Beneath the blaze
besieged the haze
A halo of smoke glazed
dancing in circles on him

Crimson stained the white
bleached fabric bloodied
her life tainted red
lay her soul adread

With thoughts aloft
shot his hand
a bullet to her heart
had her soul left

Amidst the greens
he freed her soul
against the time
he let her go

She had him tied
three knots tight
onto her left
where she breathed, her heart

His soul
tied to hers
for his love
was as pure as a dove

"It'll be alright"
He said
"I'm coming to you"
He bled

Ticking clock
bleeding heart
he lay on her
awaiting to pass away

Come death
take thy soul away
to bewed
the unfortunate couple.
