Jesse's eyes fluttered open once more as he regained consciousness.
The room was empty, yet there was a loud annoying sound coming from the fan above as it spun around intensely.
He looked at the nearby window, it was raining outside.

Jesse let out a sigh and looked over at the opposite side of the room; Still empty, The door still shut from earlier.
He tensed his muscles a little and began to pull himself up to climb out of the hospital bed.
Sighing again, he looked at the table of flowers and picked up a "Get well soon!" card.
As he read through it, he was sniffling and growing emotional, resulting in him throwing the card across to the room in anger.
Jesse noticed his hat was also lying at the side of his bed and picked it up to place it back on his head.
He looked down at his bear feet and acknowledged the hospital gown he'd been put into, shivering at the thought of somebody redressing him.
It took all his strength, whatever he had left, to open the door.

He'd only been standing in the doorway for little more than ten seconds before Angela came running down the corridor.
"Jesse!" She exclaimed.
Jesse scoffed at the sight of her.
"You need more time to lie down!" She said, a tinge of panic in her voice.
Jesse gave Angela an evil eye as he attempted to walk past her.
"Jesse..?" Angela continued.
"Where is he?" Jesse finally asked, slightly aggressively.
Angela put her hand on her hipx "Who?".
"You know who" Jesse scoffed once more, "Hanzo. I need to see him".
He began to push past Angela and make his way down the corridor.
Angela jogged behind to catch up as she held her clipboard in hand and slowed next to him.
"You really should lie down more.." She sighed, "But I cannot stop you I suppose".
Upon hearing this, Jesse felt a bit more relaxed.
He loosened up, looking at Angela as they continued to hurry onwards.

Suddenly, Angela grabbed Jesse's arm, tugging him back.
"What now?" He moaned.
"He's in here Jesse" Angela stated, pointing at the window next to them.
Jesse turned to look through the window and saw Hanzo lying in the bed inside.
He immediately teared up, although he tried his best to suppress it.
Jesse looked at Angela as she put her hand on his back, "Th- Thank you Doc".
Angela said nothing but nodded in agreement and began to open the door so that Jesse could let himself in.

Trying his best to put on a brave face, Jesse entered the room.
He immediately took off his hat upon seeing Hanzo in the hospital bed.
His lower lip began to wobble sheepishly as he quickly walked over to the bed and sat on the seat next to it.
Angela watched Jesse from the back of the room, placing her hand over her mouth as she saw his worried expression.

Jesse noticed there was a bowl of warm water accompanied by a wash cloth on the drawers next to the bed and turned to Angela with a puzzled look on his face.
"We were going to clean him up a bit before you visited.." Angela sighed, "Perhaps it's best that you do it instead".
She held onto her clipboard tightly as she tried to hold back tears and looked down at her feet.

Jesse turned back to Hanzo; he was lying in the bed unconscious yet he looked almost peaceful to Jesse.
"Han.. Hanny dear" He whimpered, putting his arm on Hanzo's hand which lay loosely at his side, "It's me, Jesse".
Hanzo's skin was stained with blood, as well as his hospital gown.
Jesse fidgeted in the seat.
He tried to reach for Hanzo's other arm so that he could hold both hands when he was suddenly met with a strange predicament.
Jesse couldn't feel Hanzo's other arm.
Angela gasped and raised her hand to her mouth again as she watched Jesse struggle to find Hanzo's other arm.

It was then that Jesse saw the other half of Hanzo.
His vision became blurry from tears but he could make out one distinct thing. Bandages.
Jesse was speechless as he began to raise from the seat slightly to get a better look.
"D- Doc.." Jesse began to stutter, "Where is it?".
Angela shifted nervously but didn't know what to say.
"Where's my Han's arm, Doc?!" He elaborated, growing impatient.
Angela grew worried at Jesse's aggressive tone but thought out her replies before saying.
"Jesse.. Hanzo was very lucky to have survived. You both were" She said, gulping, "We recovered what we could but--".
Angela couldn't bring herself to continue but instead began to draw tears from her eyes.
Jesse only grew more impatient and aggressive, He let his anger take over and rose to his feet sharply, knocking the chair over behind him.
He threw his fist down against the bed without hesitation.
"God dammit.. I- I was supposed to--" Jesse stressed, "I did this."

Angela gasped at Jesse's suggestion and began to approach from behind, reaching out to put her hand on his shoulder.
"Jesse.. Jesse no!" She cried, "This was nobody's fault, there was nothing you could do!".
Jesse shrugged Angela's hand off him angrily.
"The arrow was meant for me." Jesse whispered.
Angela felt less welcome than she had before, she held her clipboard in front of her and turned to leave the room quickly.
"I'll be outside" She said as she closed the door behind her.

Jesse exhaled deeply and began to calm down.
He pulled the chair off of the ground and lifted it back up to sit on.
The ceiling fan spun loudly like the one in his own room, the weather outside still just as depressing.
"Hanzo always loved the rain.." Jesse sighed to himself, "Loves. Loves." he quickly corrected himself.
Jesse reached out to pick up the bowl and wash cloth so that he could begin to wash Hanzo's face.
He soaked the cloth and began to dab it on Hanzo's skin lightly, staining the cloth with Hanzo's dark blood.
"Yer gonna be alright dear, I'm here" Jesse smiled as he continued to dab the cloth and take off some of the blood, "It'll.. be alright".

Jesse ran a finger through Hanzo's wet hair.
"Y' always were the good lookin' one" He smiled as he placed his head against the bed and began to drift off into a deep sleep.
