Chapter: 5. Of revelations and intentions.

Meanwhile , some where in the Phantomhive mansion....

"Sebastian is everything alright?"... A very worried looking Ceil called out to his on and off again butler..."forgive me my lord, I was just in the process of reviewing our schedule for the morrow, now as I recalled you no longer seek dancing lessons nor violin practices, is that right?"....
The very timid looking butler tried his best to not look as distracted as he were; a task that was proven to be quite difficult now that the young earl had become one such as him self.

Ceil studied him for a moment before the tiniest smirk appeared on his boyish features.
"Out with It Sebastian. Now".. He commanded...

"Im sorry...out with what exactly my lord?"... The half annoyed demon turned away from his young master, trying his best to hide his almost worried expression from him as he got dressed for bed.... Unfortunately for him though lord Phantomhive was already one step ahead of him.

" you dam well know of what I'm referring too butler, don't play games with me. You've been distracted almost all of today. Now I demand to know why?"... Ceil had little to no patience now that he had become a demon, or was it the fact that Sebastian and him had started a somewhat odd relationship since their arrival back at the manor. Come to think of it his boyfriend has been acting rather out of character for the last day or so. Absolutely nothing came to the the Earl's already confused mind and that little realization left him feeling very suspicious of the elder demon. He gazed after Sebastian's retreating form as he began to tuck himself into bed. It was true to a fact that most demons didn't really needed to sleep, something he was now learning but then again Ceil wasn't entirely a pure bred like his matured lover. Hannah had certainly been cruel to them both. She made it so that neither of them would or could find a place to belonged to. It was one of the late young lord Trancy's most unforgivable prank of all time.

He stood his ground clearly waiting for an explanation that was almost never to come. After about a few short minutes he hopped into bed beside a very calm looking Michaelis. The young early tried to not roll his eyes at him, his conscience would not allow it, being the well kept noble he was. Besides there was absolutely nothing on this earth that would coax such a childish reaction from him. So instead he settled into the somewhat awkward silence that befell them. Trying to get Sebastian to spill the beans was almost an impossible task with in the sacred bindings of their contract to begin with, especially now that Ceil had made a silent oath to himself regarding his lover's loyalty. Never again would he activate their seal in order to command him; no matter the circumstances. He sighed to himself lazily, a gesture of his Sebastian recognized all to well as his total surrender; for now that is. Anyone would be flustered with themselves if they thought their other halves were hiding things from them. In all honesty it wasn't much of a secret to begin with so why was the older demon so hesitant about telling the young man that laid curled up beside him the truth?....Sebastian sighed even louder than Ciel, this time earning a slight jab to the rib from his apparent restlessness.

"Are you really that troubled about this Ceil?"... His sudden question prompted the earl to sit up.

"Im not that worked up Sebastian, I just happen to find your change of behaviour a little unorthodox that's all". He tried his best to keep his curiosity at bay as much as he could.

The demon smiled lightly before pulling him down to face his pinkish purplish orbs. Ceil allowed him self to be dragged by Sebastian until they were both face to face in bed. From his actions he could tell that his lover was going to be truthful with him once and for all; perhaps not a hundred percent but it was a start. After all they were both demons, being completely truthful was too good a trait which neither of them possessed
