My mouth watered at the sight of those delicious juices trickling down the sides of her mouth. With each mouth fills, the donut climaxes and drips with its sticky release. My heart hammers in my chest at the sight of those pink luscious lips smacking together, licking the excess jelly off her lips. They opened wide and bit into the donut a second time, making my mouth fill with saliva. My stomach growled at the thought of wrapping lips around a jelly filled donut.
My eyes glanced around the bakery, lazily gazing at tourists greedily filling their stomachs with overpriced pastries.
While everyone is having a good time, I'm stuck here in town looking for a job. I need a job badly, I recently bought an abandoned house that I thought was cute although it needed fixing up. I bought it in a heart beat because the price was so little and worth it. Although the price wasn't much, it was still all my life savings so I'm broke. I haven't seen my house in person as yet, I just moved here in Connecticut today from New Jersey with all of my belongings. I was hopeful to find a job today so I wouldn't have to stress about money tomorrow.
It's already noon and I haven't gotten anywhere as yet today, not feeling completely down, I remember I still have my lovely home that I can't wait to get to, I just hope it's up to my standards.
I glanced outside to see my Uber driver leaning against his car, trying to light a cigar. I sighed once again knowing my entire life is sitting in that car, which only consist of one large suitcase, one hand bag and my four year old who should be sleeping. I hopped out of the stool only to end up tripping over my long skirt right before steadying my feet before embarrassing myself further.
As I was about to make my exit, I looked back at the donut noticing that it was half eaten and calling my name, noticing that the customer had already left, what do you do in a case like this when you're starving and you have no money left? My stomach growled at the thought knowing what it would taste like. I looked around hoping no one was looking my way, and without thinking I then power walked over to the vacant table. I stopped beside it and an idea came to me quickly. I pulled out my pink Motorola, acting as if I was busy on my phone, I intentionally dropped my phone on the floor besides the table, I bend down with one hand on the table near the donut I plotted on, I gripped it and used my other hand to pick up my phone in one swift motion, in the midst of getting up, I hurriedly stuffed the donut in my bag and straighten back up with my head hanging down, eyes still on the phone.
Without looking up, I headed for the exit hopping no one saw me. When I was out the door I looked up and breathe a sigh of relief. I spotted my driver and decided to call it a day, I'm exhausted and I really wanted to see my new house.
I didn't even take a step yet before someone stopped me.
"Hey hey hey, excuse me miss!". I freeze in my spot as I turned around and noticed that it was the security for the bakery.
My palms started sweating thinking he saw me stealing the half eaten donut.
I plastered on a fake smile and removed a stray hair that had escaped in front of my eyes.
"Y-yes..of..officer?" I asked in a shaky voice. I deafened my ears so I wouldn't hear what's next to come. Why would someone want to hear that they were caught stealing an overeaten donut? Don't you know how humiliating that is?While his mouth was moving, the officer then handed out my job application I was recently filling out for the bakery.
I blew out a breath and thanked him without looking in his eyes because I knew for a fact that he saw what I did, hence the grin he had stamped on his face.
I rolled my eyes and stuffed the application in my bag just after cursing remembering I had my precious jelly donut down there. I walked over to the car watching as my driver out his cigar noticing my arrival. He wandered back into the drivers seat right before destroying his throat with a few nasty coughs.
I honestly don't know why people smoke, don't they know that can kill them? I frowned as I stepped in the car recalling my uncle who died from lung cancer."Fifth Avenue street please". I yawned as the drive caught my eyes and yawned after me and grunted his acknowledgement to my demand. I smiled remembering the many few times that has happened to me, it's so involuntary. Once I see someone yawn, it's a must that I yawn also.
I glanced over at my four year old sleeping peacefully. I hope I made the right decision by moving away from my family. After Jojo's father had passed away, there wasn't much to stay for. I was still living with my parents and they didn't welcomed my daughter. My parents believe that you shouldn't have a child out of wedlock so they never showed any interest in my daughter so I just left.
I'm not completely broke, I still have two hundred dollars stashed away on my account when something urgent comes up. Before coming to Connecticut, I also bought a ride that should be available in about two days, so yeah I didn't do something as reckless as in moving to a different country completely broke.I dug in my bag for my jelly donut, after touching something gooey in my bag, I realized that my applications had donut guts all over it. I took them out just after licking the papers clean and setting them aside as my other hand landed on my donut. I looked at it in disgust realizing that it looks like it had its period unbeknownst.
I closed my eyes as I bit into it, the thoughts of its monthly erased from my mind. There was no more jelly but it was still warm and sugary, I licked my lips with a smile on my face, my stomach was getting satisfied with every chew I made.
"God bless the germs and make the devil eat the worms". I mumbled under my breath.
I caught the eyes of the driver once again and gave him a dirty look.
Finishing off the donut, my smile was suddenly wiped off my face as the Uber driver parked in the yard of an old wooded house. I stepped out of the car in bewilderment with my mouth dropped wide opened.
The fuck is this?
I couldn't believe my eyes, this house looks ten times worse than the one I applied for in the papers. I faced palmed myself as I heard the driver silently laughing to himself. I glared at him and stomped my feet.
" Don't always believe what those tabloids say darling, this house looks like my old mans surprised in his diaper". He commented while still laughing.
Ignoring what he said, I went back to the car and retrieve my belongings and woke Jojo up. She carried her little mini wonder pets suitcase to the house. I paid the driver his fee without tip with the money I had set aside for him, he then frowned, scoffed and quickly sped off.
He should learn how to keep his mouth shut next time.
I shook my head at the house giving it a disapproving look and walked toward it, dreading what I'll discover.
Hopefully the inside looks better than the outside.
You should never judge a book by its cover after all....or so I thought...
