You make a deal with Archie to help him get ready for football if he teaches you to play guitar.
"Okay Archie, I have an idea. Something we can both benefit from," you say to your boyfriend with a coy smile. He raised an eyebrow at you, not really knowing what you were going to say this time. You have been pitching the idea of him teaching guitar, but he made it clear that he wouldn't do it unless he got something out of it.
"What is your idea, Y/N?", he asks with a smug look on his face.
You mentally roll your eyes at him, "I will help you with football if you teach me guitar."
"I already can play football."
"Yeah... but you aren't team captain. And because I love you so much, I will train you until you are team captain."
He raises an eyebrow, "I made music a priority."
"And I will help you with time management, because you don't have any."
He shakes his head, grabbing his guitar and taking a seat on his bed besides you.
"Okay, Y/N, this is how it goes. A guitar has six strings-"
"I know, I can count Archie-"
"AND", he emphasizes the 'and' to hint that he didn't want any interruptions, "The strings go E, A, D, G, B, E."
"Any way to remember that?"
"Eddie Ate Dynamite, Good Bye Eddie."
"What?"
"To remember the strings. Okay, I taught you something. Now how are you going to help me prepare for football?"
"I have you know I was on a travel football team."
"Really?", he looked at you surprised.
"And by football, I mean soccer, Futbol-"
He groans and gives you a hard glare.
"Archie, let me finish. I am Cross Country team captain and you are gonna do running workouts. And I have a way to make you actually workout your abs voluntarily."
You get up and lay on the floor, "Now every time you do a push-up, you get to kiss me, and me laying here, under you, will encourage you to do your push-ups better and faster."
He bursts into laughter, and eventually you join him.
"But really, 100 push-ups right now, Andrews."
