Kidnapped by the Unknown

To the store

I smiled as I walked to the store. The sun was out and I was soaking in all the rays. I love summer!!! I pushed my sunglasses to the top of my head as I entered the store. The smell of fresh foods hit me in the face, making me grin.

I don't know why, but I've always loved grocery stores! I grabbed a cart and ran with it until I had enough speed to hop in and cost down the isles. Along the way I grabbed whatever I could off the shelves.

Including Hamburger Helper, Soup, Chicken, Rice, and Mashed potatoes. Yum! I laughed as I jumped off the cart and looked at my list of things to get.

Milk

Orange juice

Eggs

Cologne

Shaving cream

Body wash

Shampoo and conditioner

Soap

Tampons/pads.

Wait what!!!!??

I reread the last line close to a thousand times. That's grody!!! I don't want to pick that stuff up for my dad's girlfriend!!!! She can get that on her own time! Oh god I think I'm gonna throw up!

Dad you are never writing down what we need again! I yelled inside my head.

Ugh! I barfed in my mouth as I saw that line again. Why do I have to be the one to gets these?! Can't she do it?! Its not my fault that she has cramps and goes through that every month!! Yuck!!!!

" Sweety are you alright." A sweet old woman's voice drifted into my ear.

I Immediately snapped my head towards her and gave her a meek smile.

She was quite beautiful, with long silver hair that was almost white and she was almost as tall as me. Her eyes were a soft grey that looked welcoming.

" Yes I'm alright." I nodded my head.

" Well okay then, stay out of trouble young one." She laughed to herself as she walked away.

I grumbled along as I went throughout the store to get the things my dad wanted. Finally, I was at the end of the list as I walked to the ladies department. I gulped and I could feel a huge blush spreading through my cheeks.

I went to grab the box of you know whats, when I felt like someone was staring at me. My blush grew bigger as I drew my hand back and looked around.

However, nobody was in sight. I gulped again and reached for the box, my skin burning hot from being embarrassed. I grimaced as my hand touched it and I yanked it in the cart as fast as I could and hid it from plain sight.

Phew! I wiped the sweat from my brow as I walked to the cashiers.

Wow Amber you are really mature! I can't believe you got embarrassed over that! I mean your a girl yourself get over it!! I was having a mini fight in my head.

Woah Amber back to earth!

I smiled to myself as I kept walking in line. A few minutes passed and the lady bagged my stuff and I walked out of the store with six bags total. I flipped my sunglasses down to cover my eyes.

I started to dig in my bag to look for the chips I bought myself as I continued to walk.

Oh come on where are you! I'm starving! My stomach says so! Now where are you, you stupid ch-!

wham!!!!

Pain exploded on my ass as I fell to the ground and my nose felt like it was going to bleed. My bags fell to the ground as well, spilling around me.
