Far from the world of Equestria was The Sentient Palace, a place of contradictions and certainties, a place a thousand poets and philosophers would spend eternity trying to find the adequate words for it's brilliance.  Lady Star Bright and her Husband Odion had spent lifetimes in these halls, and the view at the cosmic landscape outside the Windows took their breaths away daily.  Odion and Star Bright always sat at a picture window at a small humble table when they had their morning coffee and breakfast.  In a world that was ever changing and eternal it was pleasant to keep a routine.  The two of them poked at a humble breakfast of eggs, vegetables and steaming cups of coffee, there would doubtless be things for them to do, but for the moment they where just sharing some time together as husband and wife.

"The wedding is today," Star Bright said, taking a bite of her eggs.

"Who's wedding?" Odion asked,

"Windjammer and Obsidian!" Star shine replied, dabbing the corner of her mouth with her napkin.

"Really?" Odion said, raising his eyebrows. "Well, I'm glad, they must have been engaged for a year."

"Well, you know how Windjammer's mother is," Star bright said, pouring herself another cup of coffee from a crystal pitcher. "She wanted everything to be perfect."

Odion lifted his toast to his mouth, before thinking, "I wonder why you weren't invited?" He said.

"Oh I don't know Windjammer that well,"

"He told you that story, the Guard's Tale?" Odion said.

"He did that because I asked him nicely," Star Bright said, "Not because we're aquatinted,"

"As if anyone can say no to you," Odion said smiling at his wife. "I have to admit I enjoy those records you write, you know which one is my favorite?"

"Which one?"

"The Scribe's tale," Odion said, scooping some Brocoli in his mouth. "It had adventure, action, monsters,"

"I'm enjoying the Mage's Tale," Star Bright said, resting her chin on her hand, "It's very romantic to see how Glade met his wife,"

"When where you going to finish that?" Odion asked,

"Soon, very soon," Star Bright Said. "Night Glade wants to go over it and change a few things,"

"Nothing bothers me more than people going back to established stories and changing things around," Odion complained,

A brilliant portal opened, pure light shining through, and Night Glade Stepped though with his wife Star Shine who was holding their little daughter Halo in her arms.  Star Bright felt her concern rise when she saw Night Glade had his sword in his hand, griped tightly as if they'd just come from a battle.

"Glade? Is everything okay?" Star Shine said, standing from the table.

"Yeah, now that Star Shine and Halo are safe," Night glade said, kissing his wife tenderly on the forehead.  "Shine, I gotta go back out there and help get Jammer and Obsidian's family to safety, you and Halo will be safe here,"

"Glade, I have to help you fight!" Star Shine said,

"Sine, Halo needs her mother." Glade said, "I'll be back for you two as soon as everything is okay."

"Glade, what's going on?" Odion asked.

"The Wedding is off," Glade said, "Baharra is being invaded, their after Sultana Amira, I know it.  I'm sorry but I have to go help my friends,"

Glade reopened the portal, and just before stepping though bent to kiss his daughter, and hugged his wife.

"Go get em' glade," Star shine said, "I love you,"
