Jay got a text in the morning from a friend asking if he wanted to hang out. Jay didn't ask any questions and quickly agreed to the invitation and got ready for the day.
He walked out of his bedroom and into the living room to find his dad and brother watching cartoons together.
"I'm going out. I'll be back later," Jay announced.
Jungkook turned his head. "Where are you going and with who?"
"Does it really matter," Jay sassed.
"It does if you want my permission," Jungkook said sternly. "Is it Alice?"
Jay rolled his eyes. "Yeah, okay. Can I go now?"
"Fine, just be back by three o'clock. I have to go to work in the afternoon so you're taking care of Taemin," Jungkook said.
"Daddy, I'm a big boy! I can take care of myself," Taemin blurted out, pouting his lips at Jungkook.
"Okay, be back at three. Got it," Jay said before opening the front door.
"Alright, love you," Jungkook said, but Jay had already closed the door before he could hear him.
"Jay should be spanked for being rude," Taemin said, looking at his dad.
Jungkook busted out laughing. "I'll probably take your word for it, Tae."

Jay knocked on Alice's front door, waiting for someone to open the door. He was hoping that Alice would open the door instead of her parents. The front door was opened and Alice appeared wearing a short, blue dress and was carrying a black purse on her shoulder.

"Hey Jay," Alice says, instantly hugging Jay. Jay blushed a little in embarrassment, but truly loved being around Alice.
"Hey," Jay said, putting his hands in his pockets after Alice pulled away. "So, where are we going?"
"You'll see, it'll be great," Alice said, not wanting to spoil the surprise.
They decided to walk to wherever they were going so they could catch up. It had been a while since they had the chance to hang out. Both teenagers go to different high schools in Manhattan and Alice usually has violin practice after school. Alice's dads, Jimin and Jin, are friends with Jay's dad and they've been good friends since Jay and Alice were in elementary school. They've been close for the longest time, but feelings change overtime. They become stronger and Jay hopes it's the same way for Alice.
"Why won't you just tell me where we're going," Jay asked, Alice walking beside him. "Are you making me go shopping again?"
Alice laughed. "No, not this time. This is a once in a lifetime event. Nobody wants to miss this."
