Brads POV
I walk into my first period drama class I look around seeing only five students I sit for in the back and hum.
I see the teacher walk in my jaw drops when I see him
'Holy fuck' *nose bleed*
I shake my head
"Hello everyone I'm Mr.Gontier"
The class says hi I just stare and grin I feel something hit the side of my head I yelp a bit loudly and turn to see Ryder and his gang I sigh and lower my head and turn around.
Class ends and I run out Ryder hot on my heel I help when he grabs me and hits me I whimper and look at him with glossy eyes
He raises his fist but I feel no pain I open my eyes and see his friend Barry holding him up by the neck
"I'm so done with your bull shit" he throws Ryder in a trash can and kicks it over.
I get up and run into a bathroom I slam the door and lock it I pant and grip my text books to my chest
I hear a chuckle I look up and see Mr.Gontier I drop the books and tear up embarrassed.
I run out and run outside and hide under the bleachers I sit down and bull my knees to my chest and cry I takes a deep breath and look up and see Barry I curl up tight
He picks me up and hugs me "I'm sorry"
I tense up but calm down and hug back I sniffle and look at him I see a light blush on his cheeks
I look down as he puts me down
"I gotta go.."
I run off and run home I burst through the door
"DAD!"
He runs down and sees me I run to him and jump on him crying
"D-don't make me go back.." I shake in his arms
"Ok babes I'll home school you ok?"
I nod and cling to him
"C-can we cuddle..?"
I ask shyly
"Yes Brad we can" I smile as he sits on the couch I snuggle into his shoulder
I yawn and fall asleep
*3hours later*
I wake up to knocking on the door I get up and walk to the door and open it I see Mr.Gontier I freeze up and tear up again
I feel my kid brother matt push through my leg holding his toy sword he swats Mr. Gontier with it
He chuckles Matt keep hitting him with it
"You make brawdy crwy meanie peepee stupid butt"
I giggle and wipe my tears then pick matt up putting him on my hip he hides shyly
I chuckle a bit
"Uhm Brad you left these at school" Mr. G said
"I don't need them I quit school" I say and see him frown
"But Brad you need it"
"Nope"
"What if I tutor you?"
I look at him
"R-really..?"
He nods
"Yea I love next door" he smiles
"You do?" I ask happily
He nods and smiles
"O-ok!" I say happily
I take my book and set them down
Matt swats Mr.G again but this time on his head
He giggles evilly and play fully
I smile and say bye to Mr.G and shut the door I sit on the couch holding matt in my lap.
I stare off into space for a bit
I feel a punch to my dick I yelp Matt squeals and laughs and runs off
I smile a bit and go outback and sit on the porch
My dog runs well waddles up to me
"Hi old fella" I say and pet his grey snout
I take him over to the hot tube and take off my shirt I get in and lift him in gently I hold him his head in my shoulder
He licks my face happily
I hold him close knowing he's gonna die soon I sigh a bit and jump when a ball lands in the hot tub and splashes us I look over and see Mr.G
"Sorry heh" he says and sees Rufus my dog
"He ok?"
I nod a bit
"He's 16" I say softly
Mr.G jumps the fence and walks over and grabs the ball and throws it to his puppy
"That's one old dog"
He says and pats his head gently
I nod
"Yea" I smile
He walks back to his house I sit in the hot tub for a while longer then get out holding Rufus
I wrap him in a blanket and bring him to my room and lay him on his bed
I get dressed and lay in bed and curl up and go to sleep
*time skip like two weeks*
Adams POV
I watch Brad as he work I smile as he sticks his tongue out trying to focus he's at least three months ahead of the school which is amazing
He finished
"All done!" He says happily he got up and gave me his work I take it and put it in his binder
"Wanna sit out back?" He asks
I nod
"Sure" I got up and we go outside
"Rufus!" He calls happily but Rufus never came
"Rufus?" He starts to look around I follow him he looks behind the hot tub where a life less Rufus lays in his bed his toy teddy beside him
Brad screams
"RUFUS!!" He ran to him and pulls him into his lap
"HE NEEDS HELP ADAM PLEASE HELP HIM!"
I kneel beside him
"Brad.."
"HELP HIM ADAM PLEASE!"
"Brad!"
"Help him...help him.." he sobs holding Rufus's head and kissing it he sobs loudly
His dad walks out and frowns
"Brad.."
Brad ran to his father and clung to him sobbing he picks him up and brings him inside
I pull Rufus in my lap and kiss his cheek gently
"Good dog.."
Brad father walks out
"Lets burry him" he says
I nod and pick Rufus up and his blanket and toy
I lay the blanket down and lay Rufus in it and wrap him up in it then put his toy on it
We start to dig a hole to lay him in
I pick Rufus up and lay him in it then put his toy in
Mattie runs out and puts Rufus's ball in he runs to me
I pick him up and put him on my hip he sniffles suckling on his pacifier fast.
I smile at his cuteness
Brads dad finishes burying Rufus I pick up his batman collar and go inside I set Mattie down and go upstairs to Brads room
I knock on his door
"C-c-come in-n"
I walk in and go to him he looks up and takes the collar and sobs heart broken
I frown and go to walk out
"A-a-Adam-m" I turn to look at him
"C-can you S-stay" I nod and sit on his bed and rub his back
He looks at me tears in his eyes I pull him close and hold him.
He looks at me dead in the eyes his eyes full of heart broke.
His lip quivers I hold his face and kiss him gently he blushed and kisses back very softly I smile and pull away
"You're ok I got you" he nods sadly and snuggles into me.
He falls asleep
His dad walks in I go pale he walks over to me
"It's ok" he says
"Just don't hurt him" he says
I nod
"I won't sir" he nods and ruffles Brads hair and walks out
I hold Brad tightly
"I'll protect him with my life" I mumble and hold him kissing his head.
