My name is Megan.  I live in Chicago and I'm 31 years old. I have two wonderful and smart kids named April and Tommy. I also have an extremely loyal husband named George. We've known each other since high school, and now we both go to an Ivy League School. ''Star Wars'' was the first movie we ever saw together, and we have loved the movie ever since. My life seems pretty good, don't you think? Well I think so. Actually my life seemed perfect up until May 5th, 2016.

It all started when I was walking along 4th street on my way home from work, when I bumped into this girl and dropped all my things. As I was getting up to thank her for helping me pick up my belongings, I realized she looked identical to me.

She said, "Wow this is crazy, we look so similar".

" I've always wanted to meet my doppelganger,'' I said.

" Yah me too! Can I take you out for coffee?''

It was the worst decision I've ever made to go out with Karen my doppelgänger. We talked for a while until our coffees were ready. I ranted about how my boss was being totally unfair and blamed me for stealing company money. I went on for a couple more minutes with tears rolling down my face. It had only been 15 minutes and it had seemed as if were friends for 15 years. She tried giving me advice but it only made things worse. I went to the washroom for a couple minutes to clear my head. I went back to Karen and decided to change the topic. I had a sip of my coffee. I began to feel really tired and slowly fell asleep. Before I knew it I was dressed in a smelly orange jumpsuit sitting in a dark empty cell in a mental asylum.

I screamed in terror, " Where am I?''

The guard replied in a confused voice, " What do you mean? You've been here for more than ten years silly''.

It took me half an hour to convince the guard to let me speak to the chief. As I walked down the hallway passed the cells, people were screaming, " Karen, Karen don't leave us again". I've never been so scared in my life. I walked into the chief's office, and I saw a man who looked just as scary as the inmates.

"Look there's been some sort of mistake, you've got the wrong person. There's a girl named Karen who looks just like me, but I'm Megan!"

The chief said in a sarcastic voice, " sure of course you are sweetie of course you are..."
