A week later George said he had to go away to work for a couple days. Tommy knew something wasn't right with me and tried to convince George to stay home.
" Dad please stay home! Mom has been acting really strange lately," said Tommy.
" Don't worry I'll be home in three days my phone number is on the fridge call me if you need anything."
While George was away I was secretly excited to have the kids all to myself. However I didn't realize how hard it was being a mom. I had to drive the kids to school and was supposed to make lunch for them every day but instead I bought them McDonalds. There was also a really boring dance recital I had to sit through for 2 hours. In the beginning I thought Tommy was a sweet little boy, but it turned out that he was a big pain in the butt. He made me watch a really long episode of Barney.
He said, "but mom always watches it with me".
" Well I'm not your mom! Straight to bed both of you."
" No! What did you do with my mom?" Tommy cried.
" It's none of your business. If you tell anyone I'll make sure you never see your mom again!"
