Chapter 4

After getting to the hospital I passed out, But when I woke up my father and Niya was in my room, she was awake panicking while my dad slept.
"Myah I'm sorry, none of this would have happened if I didn't get you involved to or Shawn" she expressed thinking I was sleep
"Niya," I startled her a little "its not your fault, where's Jayden how's Shawn."
"He's with Shawn , and he's doing great I was actually just over there they said he should be out by tomorrow and the same for you"
"Okay so we can still go on our date tomorrow" I laughed
"Your not going anywhere young lady" my dad interrupted
"Hey daddy" I smiled at him
"Hey my love, I'm serious I want you to stay home tomorrow"
"But dad-"
"No buts" he cut me off
"I'm fine dad I'm going out tomorrow and plus its Latrice and Marcus anniversary, dad please "
"Okay I want you guys home by 10 okay"
"Okay dad" we both answered and laughed. While laughing we heard a knock on the door it was Shawn Jayden Marcus and Latrice.
"Yo yo yo" Shawn walked in with his clothes on realizing my father was in the room.
"Nice to meet you Shawn," he laughed "Jayden nice to see you son and my two favorite people" I cleared my throat, "I mean beside my girls" he laughed
"Zmyah calm down" Latrice yelled at me and laughed
"I'm just kidding" as Jayden walked over and kissed me."Boy my daddy here" he stopped and laughed, I knew what was going on in his head when I said my daddy was here so I straight face him and hit him.
"Aight I'm sorry" he laughed
"Its fine Jayden I know you missed her " my dad laughed and they started there's own conversation. Shawn and Niya was closer than ever she was sitting on his lap laughing Jayden was sitting in the bed with me and my dad went to go get a chair for Marcus and Latrice. It was 11:59pm and everyone seemed cool and that's when Marcus came over and gave Jayden something and said it was 12 and then walked over to Latrice.
"Baby, look I'm sorry for everything I put you through, and look you still here," he stated "from the girls calling yo phone to you and Zmyah popping up at my house ready to fight my brother girlfriend and her friends-"
"They was too close" I interrupted him and laughed
"That didn't give y'all the right to drag them girls out the house" he laughed
"Did they die? No they almost did" I laughed again
"Anyways" we where all laughing he continued "I realized you was down with me threw anything and I promise that nothing will ever come between us" he put the ring on her finger "happy anniversary baby, we to young to get married right now so this is a promise that I'm not going no where and you not either" she started to cry and kiss him like my dad wasn't in the room
"Hi dad" I yelled laughing and they stopped laughing
"Sorry dad" Latrice laughed
" Look this was just planned" Jayden started talking to me now " but when i saw you bleeding I thought that I was going to loose you and I realized I really am in love with you, and here you go" he placed a ring on my finger" we to young to get married right now, and I already know you not going no where " I pecked his lips and he tried to deepened the kiss but I pulled away.
"How you get this ring" looking at it it was the ring me him Marcus and Latrice was looking at online one day I was trying to help my dad find a ring for his fiancé.
"Well Marcus had called me and asked me do i remember what ring LaLa wanted I said yes and asked him why and he told me that he was about to get one for her so I told him to get the one you wanted to" referring to Latrice
Shawn and Niya where just so shocked when this happened.
"Well I really do like you Niya even with the baby" when he said that me and Niya looked over at our dad
"I already know, what y'all never told me, I've just been waiting on y'all to tell me" he said
"Actually I need to tell you guys something I was never pregnant, my doctor said it was because of stress the pregnancy test came back positive." Niya said with a relief
"Even better" my dad said everyone was relieved except me I was upset with Niya a little bit because she didn't tell me then again I didn't take her to her appointment today her mom did but she still could've told me!
"Myah I'm sorry, you just been so busy" she said walking over to the bed, I realized she was right once she got back we got right in the car to go to the mall the the nail shop.
"Its fine Niya " I smiled "are you happy?"
"Of course, Tre never cared about me so, I think I'll have my mom tell him Monday , or if he just decides to have a date at the same place where at again" she explained " I'm actually happy" she looked at Shawn
"Daddy cover your ears," and he did " and Shawn if you hurt my sister I'll beat yo-" before I could finished a nurse knocked "ass come in" everyone laughed at me including my dad.
"Ready to go?" The nurse asked "you just had to get a few stitches in you leg here's some pain pills-" she continued
"I Dont want those rip that paper up for that prescription please" everyone looked at me no one knew why didn't want the pills but my dad and Niya.
"Are you sure" I gave her a look "Okay I'll tear it up and you are good to go"
"Thanks and okay I'll get ready." She nodded and walked out the room everyone was still staring at me I'm guessing cause I really got mad at the lady for asking me if I want the pills, I looked at my dad and he nodded .
"My mom died from taking pain killers after her accident, she got addicted" everyone looked surprise
"Okay go get dressed I'm tired" my dad demand while yawning.
