Words hurt like knives

Welona woke in a sweat, her velvet sheets tangled around her, she felt her eye. It was still there. The meeting was today, she heard a quiet knock on her doors, '' Come in! '' She chirped standing up, her velvet dressing gown swooping across the floor as she walked. A maid waltzed in holding a warm towel and breakfast, '' Hello miss Lfoat, I have come to bring you your breakfast! '' The maid smiled. '' Put it on my dresser, please, Ania. '' Welona pointed, yawning. Ania walked to her queen's dresser and placed the dish down and shortly after, exited the room. Welona sat, her fork in hand, she had heard stories about Neve, the stone-hearted queen, and Audra, the seductress. Neve had built a wall around her kingdom to lock others around her out, she had killed others ruthlessly and only cares for her kingdom. Audra is known as the opposite, she welcomes everyone with open arms, especially the men, she tries to ally with most, but they don't reply to her begs. Their meeting was in three hours.

Audra lifted her fluffy collar to cover her neck, the cold began to bite her as she sat in the carriage, it had been cold since they got into the kingdom. The capital was only minutes away, she could meet the two people that will be helping her make her kingdom great, well that's what she told people. The carriage pulled in front of the castle with a screech. '' Ma'dame, we're here! '' The driver called. Audra stepped out, her heel sinking in snow. She walked to the door, her gloved hand knocking quickly. A servant came out shortly after, opening the door and leading her into a large room, Neve stood talking to Welona occasionally laughing. The servant and Audra stared for a minute then, the servant coughed, '' Audra Winstorn of Dornato is here, my queen. '' Neve and Welona turned, Audra walked like a model towards them both, kissing Neve's cheeks, ignoring Welona who attempted to shake her hand. '' Amazing to meet you. . '' She smirked, Neve was a skinny figure like most of her models in her kingdom, her long greyish blue hair was swept behind her, a pointy silver crown placed immaculately on her head. She had a dark sapphire gown on with sheer sleeves and a silk ribbon around her waist.

When she turned to see Welona all she could feel was hatred, she had scorned her in the past, telling lies and rumors about her. She hated it, why would Neve invite her to help them, Audra disagreed on everything she would say. But she couldn't step in, it was Neve's choice. 

After the meeting Audra and Welona began to walk out, Neve bid them their farewells and sent a maid to take them away, when they got to the door Audra told the servant she could leave then she made her move. She grabbed Welona by her hand and threw her into the bathroom, Welona hitting her head on the wall, she let out a yell but it was muffled by Audra's hand. '' Silence you rat. '' Welona's sobs were silenced by Audra who locked the door, she pinned her against the wall, stroking her face with the knife, which she had stored in her velour purse. '' YOU hurt my kingdom, by your filthy rumors and their poison. . '' Welona shook her head, weeping and sweating. '' You will PAY! '' Audra yelled shoving the knife into Welona's left eye. Blood began to pour out of it, dripping down her face like tears, it merged with the water on her face already. Audra's hands were covered in blood, she still had the nerve to lick the remaining blood off of her face and kiss Welona's cheek. '' If you tell ANYBODY I will tell everyone your dirty secret and steal your other eye. . ''

Welona made a ball of light with the fraction of energy she had left and placed it in the socket, Audra had kept her eye, the thought made her shiver. She cleaned herself up and walked to her carriage, leaving the manor with a piece of her missing.
