My tan coloured fingers brush against the keys, making a sudden, beautiful noise. I write down each melody that my fingers create.

This, this could be on the next album. After I get finished with this one, that'll be a total of five songs that I have written. Now, Chester just needs to fill a few lines for each one.

I take a break to walk to my cell phone that's across the room. I keep it far away from me while I work so I don't get distracted. I check my text messages for anything from Chester, I texted him last night if he wanted to come over to hang out for a bit this morning.

Weirdly, nothing from him. It's weird because he always gets back to me. Oh well, maybe he's busy writing or sleeping still. It is early still, it's almost nine in the morning, just ten minutes left.

I put my phone in my pocket, and walk around my house for a bit. The sun makes it's way into my house from the window, increasing the heat further.

Pulling out my phone once again, my phone weirdly rings at the same time. It's Chester's wife. What's this about?

"Hello?" I answer, on the other line is just sniffles, and silence. "Talinda? You there? Hello?" She sounds muffled at first. Then, she says something that I actually understood. I wish I never had. This isn't real.

I drop the phone, making it hit the floor with a thud, and I run away from Talinda's sorrow screams are heard from the cell phone speaker.

The feeling I first go through is numbness, my whole body shakes along each step I decide to make. Every turn I make with my head, I end up seeing photo of the face that I have thoughts about when I wake up, to about the time I go to bed.

Tears make their way down my face, I'm still in denial, but knowing what has been going on recently... It's real. It's really happening. I just refuse to accept it.

I refuse accepting my best friend is gone.

Clenching my fists, I slam them against the nearest wall. Particularly a photo of him.

"Why did you go?! Why didn't you just fucking get the help you needed?!" I scream, fists pounding like a five year old that never got their way. "Why didn't you come to me?" I say in a whisper when I lay my forehead against the photo.

My hands make their way down the wall, while my whole body does as well. I sit up against the wall with my knees up, I hold onto them.

I start to whimper against my forearms. Not even hearing the door open, or foot steps entering my home.

"Mike? Mike you here?!" I hear yells from the living room, getting closer to me.

"Mike?!" I hear another voice.

Foot steps continue getting close to me. I look up with the worst case of blurry vision. And see my best friends, and band mates. Joe, Brad, Rob, and Dave.

Joe is the first one who just basically tackles me in sobs. The rest of the guys are in tears as well, and just sit down around me, giving me hugs.

We just sit there in silence, just hugging. The more comfort there is, maybe this horrible moment can get better to cope with.

The phone rings after we all let go, and started to walk anywhere that wasn't in the center of the long, memory filled hallway.

I answer it. "Hello?" I say sniffling.

"Mike, are you okay?" I hear my worried wife ask. "I heard what had happened on the internet. Are you okay?"

"Not in the slightest." I say, the water works appearing again. "I-I'm not ready to talk. Please, Anna don't worry too much about me okay? Go and finish your book stuff, and keep that smile on your face. The guys are over here to take care of me."
