~Chapter 7~

~A few weeks later~ (Y/N) POV

     I was sitting in the common room helping Pansy with potions when Goyle walked up to me. "You've been staring for 5 minutes. What do you want Goyle?" I asked. "Um have you seen Crabbe?" He asked. "I'm not his secretary! I don't know where he is," I said. "Sorry I'll keep looking," He said then walked away. "Ok where were we," I asked under my breath. "You were about to add the last ingredient to the Amortentia potion," she said. "Right," I mumbled. I added the last ingredient and waited for Pansy's reaction. "It spells like Cookies baking," She smiled. "What do you smell?" She asked me. "I smell cologne," I smiled. "Ooohh (Y/N) fancies someone. Whos cologne is it?" Pansy asked excitedly. "Dr- Not saying," I smiled. "But I'm your best friend," she groaned. "Wrong I am," Draco said from behind us, then jumped o the couch. "What's that smell?" he asked. "What do you smell?" I said. "Cherry blossoms and...vanilla," He said. I burst into laughter literally falling off the couch. Both of my friends looked at me confused. "Ok I'm leaving before your weirdness rubs off on me," Draco said walking into the boys dorm. "what was that about?" Pansy asked while I wiped a tear from my eye. "Follow me," I laughed. I pulled her into my room and showed her my perfume. "Vanilla cherry blossom," She laughed. She looked at me and smiled before bursting into laughter. An hour later Pansy said she was tired and went to her room. I got into my bed soon falling asleep.

     I woke up and got dressed in my robes and headed to the great hall. I sat between Draco and Dan who started sitting next to us not to long ago. Across from me Pansy and Goyle sat but Crabbe wasn't there. "Is Crabbe still missing?" I asked Goyle. "Haven't seen him since dinner last night," He answered. "It's not like him to skip meals. The pig never stops eating," Draco said stuffing his mouth with toast. "If he's not here by lunch we should tell someone," I said. Dan nodded his head before shoving a mouthful of pancakes in his mouth. I smiled at him and chuckled a little. Syrup dripped down his chin. "Dan you mess. Wipe your face," I laughed. He wiped his face but still had syrup on his face. "Hand me the napkin," Dan handed me the napkin and I wiped his face for him shaking my head. He laughed at me as I set the napkin down. I turned and saw Draco staring at me his face slightly red. "You ok Dragon," I asked. He snapped out of it and answered me. "Yeah, fine," He said and started eating again.

     Draco, Dan, and I all walked to our first class. Potions with Professor Snape.  We entered the class and Professor Snape gave me a tiny smile. I sat next to Draco and Snape started talking about poly juice potion. I made sure to write down notes down. As I was writing a note was passed to me.

Party Saturday. Do you and Draco wanna come?

I grabbed a piece of parchment and wrote a response

Duh! I'll ask Dragon later

     I then focused back on my notes until class was dismissed and we headed to transfiguration. Today we had a substitute for McGonagall named Professor Lovecharm. For some reason she gave me a un-easy feeling. Her long, dark hair was pulled up into a bun. I sat in my seat and was doodling. "Do you not need this class miss. Have you already perfected the art of transfiguration," The substitute professor snapped. "Actually yes," I smirked. Draco chuckled. "Then I guess you won't mind turning Mr. Malfoy into a goblet?" She smirked. "I don't mind I trust (Y/N). I stood and with a swish of my wand Draco was a goblet. I then swished the wand and Draco was back to normal in his seat. I smirked at the teacher as her mouth gaped open. She walked back to the front of the class and stuttered through the rest of the lesson.
