Oliver was trudging through the thick snow. It was up to his knees at this point. Despite him wearing a thick light-pink coat, a blue scarf, and lavender boots, the cold was starting to get unbearable.

The reason why he was in this deathly cold weather was because he wanted to give pink, and light blue cupcakes with rainbow colored sprinkles, to his best friend, Viktor, in order to surprise him.

Now, Viktor couldn't seem to stand Oliver because of his happy-go-lucky personality. He was happy all the time. You could never seem to get that smile off of his face.

After walking in the snow for an hour, he finally made his way to Viktor's house. Well, it was more of a cottage than a house.

There were Russian nesting dolls scattered across the cottage of the brown, and dark red cottage. It gave him an uneasy feeling of dread.

"What an odd choice of colors." Oliver thought to himself. "But Viktor is still my best friend!" he said happily as he walked up the light brown steps, leading to Viktor's house.

He knocked two times on Viktor's front door. He heard a loud sigh coming from inside of the cottage.

Viktor opened the door. He had large, dark bags under his eyes, as if he had not slept in days. He looked as intimidating as ever, but Oliver didn't seem to mind.

"What are you doing here Oliver?" Viktor growled. Oliver said nothing as he carefully set the cupcakes down on one of the steps, not wanting to ruin them, and gave Viktor a bone crushing hug.

Viktor however, felt very uncomfortable with this physical contact. Viktor pushed Oliver off of him, and onto the steps, crushing the cupcakes in the process.

Oliver looked at the now ruined cupcakes, and started to tear up. He tried so hard not to cry, but he broke down right in front of him.

"Why would you do that Viktor?" Oliver asked sadly. "I spent such a long time making them just for you." Viktor just stared at him with a stoic expression.

"I thought that we were best friends Vikky." Oliver said through sobs.

"Let me make one thing clear." Viktor began, getting into Oliver's face. "We are not best friends, we are not even friends, and I will never want to be your friend, I have nothing to do with a worthless thing like you, and if you touch me one more time, you will be getting a visit from my pipe, understand?"

"And one more thing, if you know what is good for you, don't call me Vikky ever again." He said the last part with a menacing growl as he stared at a trembling Oliver in front of him.

"Viktor." Oliver began. "Leave! Now!" Viktor yelled. Oliver didn't want to die, so he ran away, crying hysterically.

Viktor sighed. He didn't mean to hurt Oliver's feelings. He doesn't know how to handle emotions, especially crying. He just doesn't know what to say at times like these. He had been too harsh on him. He shouldn't have said that, and he really didn't mean to.

"I guess he looks kind of cute with his pink hair. And he smiles that cute little smile of his all the time." Viktor thought. "No! What was I thinking! I don't think that he is cute at all! Did I just call him cute twice?"

Viktor just stared at the crushed cupcakes on the steps, and sighed for what had to be the second time today.
