Chapter 1

Flashback 18 century
I was walking around the block of my neighborhood it was about midday
I wanted to play with someone because I was getting bored at home. I came across an alleyway I went in but I saw something in the corner of my eye move I looked nothing was there so I kept walking. I had an instinct that something was behind me so I was turning around to check but something grabbed me by the neck and bit me and me being my six-year-old self screamed so loud wishing that someone would hear me. After the thing finished it put something in my mouth and ran off. I just lied there so I could try and gain my strength but there was only little left so I ran and ran all the way home. Our house was only small like a barn because we were a poor family I ran into the house and saw my mom I quickly told her what happened and she asked me if it put something in my mouth I said yes. She went crazy she started crying and saying curse words I asked her what's wrong she ignored me and asked if I was hungry I was going to say no but then I got this feeling in my stomach it was making me hungry making me very hungry I said yes she then said what would you like she then said I could have anything I wanted I liked my lips said I wanted anything she wanted but that changed when my body became stiff and my eyes widened in shock I wanted blood. That was the day I Lucas Sebastian Reid turned into a vampire.
