What up, I just realized that I stopped Writting a few days after my birthday last year and now I'm starting again a few days after my birthday. You probably don't care to read these bits so ill just go right to story.

We were walking with Hagrid back to his house after the big game. I figured we should question him a little bit, after all I mean, we wanted to see what he really knew about what was going on around here.

"You saw it as plain as us Hagrid, Harry's broom went wonky and then as soon as Mione took Snape out of the equation it was fine. That sounds like too much of a coincidence to me." I insisted.

"Nonsense. Why would Snape put a curse on Harry's broom?" Hagrid responded when we questioned him, though you could tell he was very confident in his answer wether we accepted it or not.

"Who knows," Harry scoffed, crossing his arms and obviously annoyed at the fact he almost lost his first game due to a stupid hex, "Why was he trying to get past that 3 headed dog on Halloween?"

Hagrid stopped in his tracks for a second, "Who told you 'bout Fluffy?" He asked, looking at the four of us with a confusion written across his face.

"Fluffy?" Ron looked terrified at the thought,
"That thing has a name?" Hermione looked equally as shocked.

"You named. The mythical. Three headed guard dog. OF THE UNDERWORLD.  FLUFFY!" I was laughing so hard, I was glad that everyone had stopped walking at this point because I think I would have collapsed otherwise.

"Well, of course he's got a name." Hagrid looked offended that Ron and Hermione would ever think otherwise, "He's mine. I bought him off an Irish feller I met down at the pub last year. Then I lent him to Dumbledore to guard the...." he trailed off as he realized what he'd done. I had stopped laughing at this point so I could listen.

"Yes?" Harry egged him on.

"Shouldn'ta said that..." Hagrid started walking again, almost trying to get away from us. "Don't ask any more questions. That's top secret, that is." He continued as he walked away.

"But Hagrid, whatever Fluffy's guarding, Snape's trying to steal it!" Harry argued, having to take three steps to every one of Hagrid's just to keep up.

"Codswallop," Hagrid was very dry on his opinion, "Professor Snape is a Hogwarts teacher."

Hermione interrupted with an argument of her own, "Hogwarts teacher or not, I know a curse when I see one. I've read all about them. You have to keep eye contact. And Snape wasn't blinking."

"Exactly." Harry wasn't really making this any better for any of us.

"Hagrid, we just want to be sure we have all our bases covered." I insisted, trying to be of more help in the conversation.

Hagrid sighed, "Now, you listen to me, all four of you. You're meddlin' in things that ought not to be meddled in. It's dangerous. What that dog is guarding is strictly between Professor Dumbledore and Nicholas Flamel." He explained as we arrived at his little cottage on the edge of the forest.

"Nicholas Flamel?" Harry picked up on the name we haven't heard yet.

Hagrid realized his mistake a little too late, "I shouldn't have said that. I should not have said that. I should not have said that." He rushes through the door and closed it, locking us out to start our walk back to the castle.

We started on our way back as Harry repeated the name to us, "Nicholas Flamel..." He rubbed his head in an attempt to concentrate "Who's Nicholas Flamel?"

"I don't know." Hermione admitted, looking around as if she was trying to remember something.

"Hermione and I will go look him up in the library, I feel like I've heard the name before," I considered it for a moment while we walked in to the stone corridor that provided entry to the castle.

"I just hope that this actually amounts to something and we haven't just been reading to many mystery novels." I muttered, turns out my first year at Hogwarts was going to be a lot more confusing then I had anticipated.
