When we got into the basement Celeste smiled and waved me over. "Michelle, you're finally here!"
Catching her enthusiasm I grabbed William's hand and pull him behind me as I sped up.
Celeste, not one to miss anything, noticed. "I see it didn't take you too long to get over Aaron."
I hastily let go of William's hand as a blush crept across my face. "It's not what you think, Celeste. He just decided to come for a swim, too. And how many times do I have to tell you Aaron and I weren't dating?"
"Hey, I'm not swimming," he said sitting down by the edge of the pool. "I'll talk to you guys but I'm not getting in there with you."
Celeste pouted prettily. She subtly moved so that her cleavage was more noticeable from where he was sitting. "Come on, Atkins. How often do you have a chance to go swimming in an indoor pool in the middle of winter? Or with all of us?"
He laughed and shook his head. "I'm not one for swimming but even I can admit that the company's good."
Ignoring their banter I stripped down to my bikini and climbed into the shallow end where my friends were talking. As soon I was in Tatiana felt the need to splash me.
"Hey!" I said with a laugh.
She giggled and moved behind Beth so I couldn't retaliate easily. Instead of attempting to splash her back and hitting Beth by accident, I went the opposite way around Beth surprising her and causing her to shriek and try to get away. Laughing I splashed her back before she managed to get too far and then got out of there before she could retaliate. I slid over to where Bridget and Ashley were so she wouldn't be able to splash me easily.
"Oh it's on," she said coming after me.
Laughing I moved between the two girls and got to the side of the pool where Celeste and William were talking. "You wouldn't dare!"
"You sure about that?" she said batting her eyelashes innocently.
I splashed her and her batty eyelashes before she could do anything. "Positive."
Celeste sighed. "You guys are acting like little kids."
"It's kind of cute," William said with a wink. "Looks like fun."
I backed away from the two of them and glanced at Tatiana. She smiled evilly at me and I knew we were thinking the same thing.
"What are you guys thinking about?" Celeste asked putting her back against the pool wall. A twinkle in her eyes made me believe she knew what we were planning.
"On three?" Tatiana asked.
"You wouldn't," William said getting ready to stand up.
"Three!" I said as both Tatiana and I splashed them and then got away as fast as we could.
"You are so dead!" William said looking down as his wet clothes.
"What are you going to do about it?" I asked coming closer to them. "It's not like you can come in here and get us back."
Celeste shook her head and moved away from us slightly. "I so do not want to get caught in the middle of this."
"Don't temp me, girl," William said splashing me with a little bit of water.
I splashed him right back and stuck my tongue out at him. "You don't scare me."
"Come here, you."
I laughed and took a step away. "No way. If you want to get me back you're going to have to come in here."
He reached forward and managed to grab my hand as I tried to move away even more. "You were saying?"
