Oceans

We were like two oceans, crashing together. Mixing in with one another. So close yet so far. The occasional fight would roll in like a storm, leaving us torn until the rainbow came and the sun of forgiveness lit the sky up. It was normal for us. Both oceans full of stubbornness and fight in us. Both with differences inside them like the array of fish and creatures swimming deep under. The sea monsters our demons that we hide so well. The unknown to everyone but ourselves. And occasionally, the demons would slip up into the light; people would see and try to explore. But what we need is each other. The both of us calm down and help each other, becoming the smooth waves as we relax and take a rest. We need each other like two oceans.
