Ira's POV
x
It was time to go now. It's already 12am but I have to catch a bus to Misha's house. I took a darkblue bag and put my mobile phone and some money into it. I was very excited how the party will be. I hope it'll be like Kris' birthday party in March! I went downstairs and put on my shoes. I was thinking if I should wear high heels, but this isn't a good idea for me because my feet really start to hurt immediately, when I wear high shoes. I got darkblue shoes with a black ribbon, which look amazing with my dress and the jacket. So I wear these. As soon as I opened the door I closed it and hurried to the bus station. I have only this way to come from my place to Misha's. But it's okay. I mean for me, it's my daily life! It wasn't cold outside so I put my jacket off. I went and went to the bus station. Then I finally arrived. I wasn't waiting alone for the bus: a woman also waited for the bus. She asked me: 'Do we know each other?' I looked a bit skeptic at her and I said: 'I don't know. Where from do you know me?' The woman put off her hat and answered: 'Maybe from school. Are you a friend of Misha Maskimov? Because I saw you with him a few times in the school. My daughter is 13 and she loves his YouTube videos.' I wasn't happy but I tried to act like I am happy. I answered: 'Yes, we are best friends. And what's the name of your daughter so that Misha can say hello to her in his Instagram stories?' And she put her hat on and said: 'Her name is Mariana.' 'I'll tell him.' 'Okay', the woman said. The bus arrived and I got into it. I sat down in a seat in the middle of the bus. Alone. I took my mobile phone out of my bag and read a message of Kris. It says: 'and another thing, Ira. You don't like getting home when it's dark right?' Yes I don't like this, but why does Kris write this to me? I thought. I typed back: 'Yes, why?' The current status of Kris changed from 'online' to 'is typing...' . I was excited, what he would write back. I expect something like that, that Daniel or his dad will bring me home because it's so late. But the answer was very different. I am at Misha's place soon. I was a little bit shocked. Only a little bit. His answer was: 'maybe you can stay at my place until tomorrow. So that you don't have to go home alone in the darkness.' While I read the short answer, I thought it was really nice of him, because of this 'going home in the darkness' story. And he knows, when I am scared and when I am happy. This was the bus stop, where I have to get out. The woman waved at me, I waved her back and got out of the bus. I saw Misha, who was coming to me. I said: 'Hello Misha! You are back in Russia again! I am so glad to see you! How was your holiday in the USA?' He went to me and said: 'I am also very glad to see you again; Ira! I missed you so so much! I'm happy to have you again! And the holidays were great! We did lots and lots of things in New York!' I looked at him with a cute face and I asked: 'And what did you buy there?' Misha looked at me and said: 'Many things. I also bought a little present for you.' That's so nice of Misha, that he bought something for me. Misha took something out of a little bag. It was a box. A very beautiful box. He gave it to me and I said: 'That would've not been necessary! That's so cute of you! I am sure it was expensive!' He smiled and said: 'It's a present, Ira. So, as you know, the price is a secret.' I opened this little present. In the box was a bracelet with my name on it! It's gold and so beautiful! I told Misha: 'Thank you so much!! This looks so beautiful!!! I love it!! Thanks once again!' Misha looked at me and said: 'No problem. I thought you'll like it! And do you want me to put this on your wrist, Ira?' I nodded at him and he put it on my wrist. This looks so beautiful!
