Chapter 13. Hide away

Jack and I went our separate ways. I went to look for my dad.

Hey daddy. May I ask you something? I asked him.

Of course Star. What is it? He asked me looking a little curious.

May I go for a drive? I asked him.

Of course. If you see a Decepticon I want you to tell us so we can bridge you back. He told me.

Of course. I said.

I typed in the coordinates of a deserted road. I went driving for awhile and then I saw a familiar car. It was Knockout.

Hey Knockout. What are you doing here? I asked him a little to excited.

Well I was just going for drive. What about you? He asked.

Same. Wanna race? I asked him.

Your on. He said.

From here to that cave. I told him.

Ok. 3..2..1..GO. He yelled out.

I was in the lead until halfway when I got distracted seeing a ground bridge appear. I then saw Dad and Bumblebee come out of it looking at me. I finished a few minutes after Knockout did.

Great Race Doc Knock, but you might want to leave because my dad and Bumblebee are coming over. I told him.

Ok. See you another time hopefully. He said sadly.

I transformed into my cybertronian robot form and walked over to my dad and Bumblebee.

What were you doing... racing a Decepticon? He asked me.

What makes you think I was racing him. I might have been chasing after him. I told them.

I told you if you saw Deceptions you need to contact us so we can bridge you back. You said you were ok with it, so don't give me an excuse. You were racing with him. Why? He asked and I could tell he was frustrated with me right now.

Ok. Yes I was racing with him but it's because we're just friends. I know I'm an Autobot and Knockout is a Decepticon, but he never hurt me and we're always hanging out and we became good friends. I explained to him.

What!? When was the first time you hung out? He asked me clearly mad.

When Miko, Jack, and I went to the club. He was there and we danced together, talked, and joked with each other the whole night. I told him.

Let's go home. When we get there you will be in your room until I say you can come out. He said clearly upset with me.

We walked through the Ground Bridge and I went to my room and locked it.

Prime's POV:
I went over to where Jack was.

What happened at the party between Star and Knockout? I asked them.

They danced, talked, and joked around with each other. Although it didn't seem in a friendly way. I think they might have been dancing in a flirty way. He responded.

She is grounded for dancing, talking, joking around, and Racing with a Decepticon. I said clearly mad and upset.

I just want her safe and nowhere near a Decepticon because they are unpredictable. I thought.

Back to Shooting Stars POV:
Why does Knockout have to be a Decepticon. I heard my dad saying I was grounded. I walked out to see my dad for just a minute.

Hey daddy. I'm sorry for what I did and I deserve to be grounded. I wasn't eavesdropping on you guys but my berthroom (bedroom) isn't that far away. I told them and left to go back to my room and locked it once again.

I can't stop thinking about Knockout. He's really cool and sweet, but my dad can't see past that. He's afraid that something will happen and I don't blame him.

I started to remember an old song I used to listen to a lot and played it. I loved this song a lot and well I just felt the music in my heart and started to sing and dance after changing into my holoform.

The song ended and I got in my cybertronian form. I heard a knock at my door. I went to open it and it was my dad.

Hey. I said barely a whisper but he must of heard it because he said Hi.

What are you doing outside of my berthroom? I asked him.

Well I heard you singing but only heard the ending but what I wanted to tell you was... you know you can't see Knockout anymore. He said.

I know. I wasn't planning on seeing him anymore anyways. I said knowing I lied to him.

Ok. Well goodnight and see you tomorrow when we have a mission. He said.

Wait. I thought I couldn't leave base or my room for any reasons.... especially for missions, patrol, or even a drive. I said very confused.

Well your ungrounded tomorrow. He said.

Ok. I said and closed my door then locking it. I walked to my berth and soon fell into recharge.
