The new boy in town

Chapter 1:

 As Anya runs from the living room to her bedroom, she quickly turns to lock her door and hides in the closet. She can hear the strangers footsteps getting closer to the room. The Strangers fiddles with the doorknob to her room. When her door didn't open for them, they  tried to kick down my door. After a few more tries mherdoor gets kicked down. When the loud rackit calmed down, it became all but too quite. She listens closely with her ear on the door, nothing. She calmed down a little until the door, immediately, opened. She fell on the ground as the Stranger pulls on her hair."WHO ARE YOU!" she screamed. They paused for a moment, as the Stranger pulled of their mask. It was no stranger at all, it was her ..."ALEX!".

I stop reading and turn to see my mother at the other side of the room looking at me with a serious face. "Yes?" I say in a calm voice. "Didn't you have plans with your friends soon?" Mom says as she points at the clock on the wall. I quickly turned my head to see the time, " 1:25!!". I jumped off the couch, ran upstairs to put on my shoes, and ran back to my mom "Thanks, mom, gotta go bye!" I say as I quickly peck a kiss on her cheek, grabbed my bag, and ran out the door. " Bye! Remember to be back at 4 pm, got it!" my mom shouts behind me. "Got it mom! See you later!!" I run to the side of the house to get my bike, I turned to see a moving van in front of the Lopez family's old home.There I saw an older woman that seemed to be the same age as my mother. She had short, dark brown hair and light brown eyes, she had just come out of the house and was on her phone. There were two other kids as well, one was a boy about my age. He had curly dark brown hair and dark brown eyes, and the other was a girl who looked like she was younger than me by a few years, she looked just like her mother younger self.

    The older women turned as her eyes met mine. She started to walk right towards me and asked, "Excuse me miss, do you know anyone named Serena Williams?" I looked up at her and shook my head"Actually, she is my mother...". She looked at me with her widen eyes and said "Alex?". I was confused and said " Yes..." that's when without any warning, she picked me up and hugged me "ALEX! OH MY GOODNESS, IT HAS BEEN SO LONG!!!". She puts me back down with a teary eye. "The last time I saw you is when you were just a little baby, my how much you've grown!" I hear the door open behind me. I turn to see my mom, she opened the door and looked at the older woman hugging me "LANA!". My mother runs up to the women and hugs her " I can't believe it's you, it's been too long!" mom says to her, as I stood there looking at their little reunion." Hey mom, I would love to stay and chat, but I have to go.". Mom looks at me and smiles "Haha, ok. I see you later.". I run back to get my bike and take off.
