I woke up the next morning and made breakfast. As I finished I heard little footsteps running downstairs.
"Good morning mommy" he hugged me.
"Morning peanut" I smiled.
I put the plates with pancakes on the table and we sat down and ate.
"Baby, Laura is coming today"
"Yayyy" he grinned.

After the breakfast we sat on the couch and watched some movies.
A few hours later someone knocked at the door and I opened it.
"Hey Laura" I gave her a hug and she hugged me back.
"Hey Delly"
"Come in" I smiled and closed the door.
Suddenly I got a call.
"Laura, Angelo is in the living room" I said and picked up the phone.

"Hello?"
"Hey honey"
"Oh hey mom, everything okay?" She sounded like she was crying.
"No"

Laura's POV.
"Hey peanut" I smiled and gave him a hug.
"Hey auntie Laura, sit down let's watch the movie" he pulled me to the couch.
"Okay" I laughed.

After a while Adele came out of her room, crying.

"Honey what's wrong" I jumped up and ran to Adele.
She just buried her face in my shoulder and began to sob.
"Come let's go upstairs and you tell me what's wrong"
We closed the door of my bedroom and sat on the bed.
"Tell me what's wrong Delly"
"My mom just called m-me" she cried.
"What's wrong?"
"My grandpa d-died" she buried her face again in my shoulder.
"Everything is okay" I ran my fingers through her hair to calm her down.
I knew it's very hard for Adele, she and her grandpa were very close, she really loves him.
After a few minutes she calmed down.
"Laura, can you please look after Angelo a bit, I need a bit fresh air"
"Of course honey, be careful"
She nodded and put her shoes on.
Angelo was distracted by the TV so he didn't noticed that Adele went outside.

Adeles POV.
I dried my tears and walked along the street. I walked to the park and sat on a bench.
There were no paps around, not even people, except one guy. He was sitting on another bench at the other side of the park but it was too far away for me to spot a face. Obviously he noticed me as well because he was walking straight in my direction.

"Maybe he was about to go" I said to myself.
"No he wasn't"
A tall man appeared next to me.
"Hi Adele"
I turned around just to find Simon coming closer and sitting down on my bench.
"Simon! How are you?"
"I'm fine but clearly you aren't"
"My grandpa just died. How would you feel?"
"I lost my wife a couple of years ago"
"Oh"
She looked shocked.
"I'm sorry..."
"She's at a better place now so don't be"
"Who's his dad?" he asked, looking at the tattoo on the side of my hand.
"His name is Alex"
"Where-"
"He left"
"He left?"
"Yes but I don't really want to talk about it"
"I understand"
After one moment of silence
"Are you coming to our restaurant today?"
"Should I?" I looked at him and smiled.
"Of course! I want to see you and your little boy"
"Alright"
I giggled.
"Then we're of course going to come"
He winked at me and left the park.
I sat a while alone and then decided to go home.

I walked in and smiled, Angelo was sleeping in Laura's arms.
"Oh hey delly" Laura laid Angelo on the couch and stood up.
"Hi" I slightly smiled.
"Are you okay?"
"Yes I'm fine"
"Mummy where were you?" Angelo stood up and hugged me.
"Oh I just went out for a walk" I smiled and ran my fingers through his hair.
"Without me?" He pouted.
"I'm sorry. What do you think peanut, should we go to the restaurant later?"
"Yes" He grinned.

"Hunny I'm sorry but I need to go, I have a meeting" Laura said.
"It's okay" I smiled.
We said our goodbye's and she left.
