The streets were not only empty but quiet - and this was when the most people passed and the most noise was made. Maybe it wasn't that surprising, really, it was this country's first blizzard.
Snow covered every inch of it; the country's beautiful land buried for quite some time now. There was "too much snow" as said by all the inhabiters, yet the clouds had no mercy and the snow kept falling thicker and thicker.
While everyone was in their homes relaxing, only one person was outside, walking around, as if the snow never fell and isn't falling, or trying to bury her underneath itself. She sometimes stopped walking to look around, just to marvel at the freezing creation of nature.
The girl was none other than (Your/name), young, beautiful, and talented. She was probably the happiest person in the country, though she rarely showed emotions - which she never really did, even she was alone.
People often wondered where where her parents were, but never really dared to ask. She always made them feel both frightened and threatened, just by looking at her when she passed by. But her parents were a mystery.
And yet, she was interesting and intriguing. People were often curious of her, drawn to her, but never really watched her for more than a week.
She was a traveler - continuously staying in villages for less than a week before leaving to go to another one.
Yet today, she couldn't stay anywhere - every place was closed due to the blizzard. She silently cursed under her breath.
There was snow everyday there, but yet no blizzards. This came, everyone panicked, and and now everything was closed.
She silently trudged through the snow, but kept her pace. She crossed so much snow that she was covered in it from head to toe.
Even though, with all the snow, there was only one spot she knew for sure didn't have any. It was a secret 'cove' as you may call it, with white, hot sand and the clear, cold, blue water she loved oh-so-much. The sensation of walking from cold ice onto hot sand would probably be too much to bear, but it was possible because of the jungle in between the beach and frozen land.
(Y/n) was the only one who knew about it, let alone where it was. She had built herself a house there, completed with a hammock for sleeping and relaxing, a table for preparing food found in the jungle (usually consisting of a few berries, coconuts, pineapples, and other fruits/tropical items), and lastly a little drawer for books and pocket knives, which she had made for herself out of a palm tree.
Though no one knew about it, she heard people with different accents yelling, cussing, and saying things like "Search for treasure, it has to be here somewhere!" She noticed it pretty quickly, and took off her wool coat, jacket, sweater, pants, boots, etc. until she was wearing what she wanted.
(Y/n) ended up wearing a (favourite/colour) strapless bikini bra, (f/n) shorts, a pair of (second/favorite/colour) converse sneakers, and a (s/f/c) jacket with a (f/c) star on her back. Her long (if it isn't pretend it is) (hair/colour) hair pulled back and up into a high ponytail. In short, she looked pretty badass.
She hid under some bushes, watching the people invade her house. She grimaced. This wasn't supposed t happen.
But seeing as they were busy, she made a run for it and ran to a huge rock on the edge of the water. It was right next to her house, but at least she was in fact, sly a s fuck.
When she reached the tip of the cliff, she looked over at the people. pirates. That's what they were. Her eyes scanned over them, noting how many different ones there were. She noticed that they were all gathered in random groups.
Her eyes inspected all groups, but came to a halt when they met three other pairs. Red, green, and blue. They stared at each other for a while, taking in their features. They all had blonde hair, though different shades. One strawberry blond. And two others.
She decided she was ready. Knowing more were now watching, yelling to go get her, she closed her eyes and dove straight into the ice-cold water.
