Hazel blankly stared at the two figures sitting in the front seat. It was clear that Avery and Noah were painfully oblivious to what was happening in front of them. " Avery watch out! " And then it happened. It happened. It was all a blur, a big fat blur that could not be avoided. It came. She thought. The world is trying to stop us. Me. For a moment she felt like she could fly. She felt all her worries drift away. The collision . The screams. The pain. Someone help. Help. She could feel her head rattling like a toy inside of the car while it tumbled. It kept tumbling and turning. Until it stoped. She couldn't feel her leg. She couldn't feel her right arm. But she could feel the pain. In front of her lay the beaten car. The review mirror sat and two concerned worried eyes begged her to look at it. She had a huge gash spread along her forehead. Her was she. She was Hazel. it was the source of her pain. More painful than the traumatic memories. As she laid sprawled across the floor she felt a warm hand. And Despite all the pain, she turned her head and saw the golden ring. It was mason. A tingling sensation spread down to hazels right hand. Once again she turned her head. Avery. It was Avery. And holding Avery hand was Noah. Tears streamed down their beaten faces like a river. A freshwater river. Freshwater tears. And just as Hazel closed her eyes and was about to surrender to the pain. She saw it.
