Sam McCartney has a wooden cat whom she named Ginger. She got him on her 5th birthday. Sam spent years with that wooden cat, for her grandfather gave it to her. She took him to school, she took him to Church, she took him on trips, she took him everywhere. She even made him a bed for him to sleep in at night. She did everything with him, absolutely everything with him. She would make outfits with him, she would draw with him, she would read with him, she would do everything with him.
Ginger, on the other hand was treated perfectly, although some activities that Sam did with him were a bit messy, such as making mud pies, playing doctor, etc. But Sam still played the same games, and was still loved very much by little miss Sam McCartney. He was also loved by the rest of the family.
Sam's mother and father thought that Ginger was teaching her responsibility and care. Sam's little brother just loved cats. Sam's big sister was admiring the detail put into the figure and truly wanted to learn how to create such a thing. Sam's grandfather was very proud and pleased that his gift was something Sam cherished. And of course, Sam sincerely loved and cared about the cat.
Although everyone seemed to love him, there was one who didn't. For Sam's grandmother thought that creating the cat was a waste of time and that her grandfather should have just bought her something instead. Sam's grandmother also disliked cheap and completely useless items. Such as cards, paper bags, and napkins. Let's just say, she has a different opinion about most things.
