Getting broken up with was one thing Aliana Haven was used to. Her first years of High School mostly consisted of heartbreaking break-ups. But on top of all that, she has to deal with the remnants of sadness left behind after her mother left her and...

Ashton's POV (Before the wedding...)
Sacked out on the big couch in the basement was where I wanted to stay all night. In my sweatpants with a bowl of Cheetos. Nothing better then that. And I was texting Ali, which was always great.
Now, I just had to make sure no one wrecked my plans. Suddenly, I heard footsteps come banging down the staircase. That could only be Dad or Tyler.
Tyler emerged from the stairs and stared at me.
"What do you want?" I asked in an annoyed tone. I sent Ali a quick text before staring at my step-brother, waiting for an explanation.
"I'm going to a wedding, and I can bring someone with me. And Dad told me to take you instead of him."
So much for my plans.
I groaned. "I don't want to go to a fucking wedding."
"You're going," Tyler ordered.
He really didn't have the right to order me around. He was my step brother for God's sake. I honestly hated, I mean, disliked, Tyler from the beginning. He was annoying and so extremely arrogant. Even more so then me. Like, way more then me. He was popular the second he stepped onto the school grounds. And he is said to be the most popular boy at Terra Lake High School.
I used to be the most popular.
I had girls lining up for my attention, and I loved the attention I got. I stood there, smirked, and I had tons of girls ready for my attention and love. It was so easy. It still sometimes happened, but Tyler had most the girls lining up for him now.
And of course he was dating the second prettiest girls in the school. Ali is the prettiest.
Did I just admit that? I did.
So anyways, after my dad married Tyler's mom, my life started to get taken over by Tyler. I sometimes wished he was two years older so he'd just move out already.
"You can't tell me what to do," I fired back.
Tyler rolled his eyes. "I'm the oldest. I can tell you what to do."
"Nuh-uh. I'm older by a month."
"Whatever. Just go. It's Vicky's Mom's wedding and it would be nice if you were there."
I glared at him for a second. Then looked down at my Cheetos. Then remembered my social life. My social life mattered the most. "Fine."

I followed Tyler towards the entrance of the wedding. It was on a beautiful beach and the set up was very nice looking. Maybe this wouldn't be too bad.
Soon, we were through the entrance and getting in our seats. The music started playing, and I watched everyone walked down the aisle, bored as hell.
