"What are we doing at a food mart?" Aliyah asked, she was slightly confused as they pulled into the parking lot of Steve's Food & More. Bryce laughed softly as he parked his car, close to the front so they didn't have to walk too far. "Well I figured, we could get some lobster and go back to your place and make it. I think it's creative for a first date."
Aliyah felt herself beginning to blush, she shook her head. "I thought Bryce Walker doesn't date?" She asked, raising an eyebrow at him. Bryce just shook his head laughing. She was so complex, one minute she's shy, and the next she is a confident talker. "I don't date, Just wanted to see what you would say" He then shrugs. Aliyah frowned a bit at his response, it wasn't at all what she was hoping to hear. She decided to let it go. "So let's go pick out a Lobster to murder" She forced a laugh as she got out of the car, softly closing the door behind her. Bryce wasn't long before he was walking beside her. He noticed something was off, but didn't say anything about it, he knew it would make things awkward.
"Have you really eaten sea food much?" Bryce asked, he looked down at Aliyah and smiled, moving his hand to her lower back. His thumb traced around a bit and he grinned feeling the indent in her back. "Not really, why?" She giggled, pulling his thoughts from her back dimples. "You have dimples on your back" Bryce answered, clearly ignoring her comment. He was never this fascinated by a girl. Bryce Walker was one to just fuck and go, so it made everyone curious to know what his game plan was with her.
"Do I?" Aliyah felt her cheeks getting hot, she knew she was blushing. That's when the automatic doors pulled her attention. She walked from Bryce's grip and went inside the store, grabbing a cart for whatever food Bryce was planning on getting.
"What all are we getting Bryce?" Aliyah looked at him, leaning against the cart as she began walking toward the frozen food. "Well I was thinking a nice Lobster salad with some cheap wine" Bryce smirked, walking beside her, he grabbed the edge of the cart and made it turn, so they could walk down the Vegetable isle. Aliyah just smirked. That's when Bryce laughed. "I'm kidding, I don't drink cheap wine" Aliyah wasn't a wine drinker so she just nodded, how would she know the difference if she never had it?
Bryce nudged her side then wrapped an arm around her, giving her a gentle squeeze. He walked a bit away from her then put his hands on his side, looking through the lettuce, he didn't wanna get the old ones they tend to leave out. His eyes found a perfect one. "Aha" He exclaimed, grabbing the lettuce, he tossed it in the cart, causing Aliyah to chuckle. "Seth Curry over here" Monty walked up behind Bryce, he smacked a hand on his shoulder as he laughed at him "You ditched us to go shopping?" He eyed Aliyah but didn't say anything. He didn't like that Aliyah was hanging around Bryce. He thought she was too good for someone like Bryce. A lot of people did. She was supposed to be with Jeff, everything was wrong.
"Uh, we were gonna go out to eat, but I thought it would be creative to make some Lobster," Bryce answered, eyeing Aliyah. He smiled a bit before turning his attention back to Monty. "Where is Dumb and Dumber?" He was clearly talking about Justin and Zach. Monty shrugged. "I think Justin is still with Jess and Zach went to his house to play Basketball with Marcus and a bunch of guys"
Bryce crossed his arms, raising his eyebrows at Monty. "Why didn't you go with Zach then?" It didn't make sense, Monty wasn't one to fly solo. "Something peaked my interest on the way there," Monty glanced over at Aliyah then back to Bryce. "But my luck always goes bad" Bryce didn't catch on to his statement, he just shrugged. "Well, we gotta get the rest of what we need. See ya around Pal" He patted Monty's shoulder then walked to Aliyah. "We need to go to the meat section" He ignored Monty's stare and directed the cart so they could go the other way.
"What was all that about?" Aliyah asked, she was now walking by Bryce as he pushed the cart. "You know just as much as I do" Bryce answered, glancing down at her.
