Saturday February 25th

Since her talk with Luke, Sindy has gone back to helping Donny. The two of them had come to a silent agreement to completely forget valentine's day ever happened.

Donny can now walk without his crutches though he does still have to rest often. After all, he is only halfway through his Physical Therapy.

Knowing Aria is going with Luke to his grandparents anniversary party tonight, he wonders if Sindy would be going too since she is family.

"Any plans tonight?" he asks as innocently as possible.

"Avoiding family members as much as possible." Embarrassed that she blurted that out so quickly without any thought, Sindy ducks her head to hide her blush.

"You going to the party?"

"How did you know about the party?" She wonders in shock.

"It's all Luke and Aria have been talking about. They have a big surprise for his grandparents." He chuckles.

"Oh God! They are not pregnant are they?"

"Jesus! No, no nothing like that" Staring at her like she is crazy for suggesting such a thing he continues on.

"Is your family that bad you feel like you have to avoid everyone?"

Sighing she slumps down in the nearest seat. "No. It's just...they...judge me.... For something stupid I did in my past, and I've had to deal with it on my own. Luke and the Summers have really been the only help for me but living so far away they could only do so much. They can't stop the whispers going on behind my back, or hell right to my face. If I go I'm just gunna be in a sour mood the whole time." Realising that she is rambling on about her problems, she offers a sheepish smile and gets up to leave.

"Hey" he calls softly while grabbing her arm "no need to leave so soon. This is the longest conversation we've had that doesn't have anything to do with my leg. I like it."

Pulling her back to the couch, Donny sits down, relieved when she joins him.

"You can just say you got caught up with work and couldn't make it. In fact, I think your tire is flat, don't you agree?" He suggests.

Catching on Sindy feels a small smile come to her face. "Yes, I belive so. Won't be able to make it to the party since Luke already left."

"Well" clasping his hands together, Donny stands up and makes his way to the kitchen as best he can "Since you're stuck here, how about a movie marathon?"

Not letting herself freak out, she simply nods and gets up to help with snacks.

...

After a couple movies it was well past midnight and the two had long since moved to Donnys room to watch from the comfort of his bed.

Uncomfortable at first with the change, Sindy conceded when Donny promised he wouldn't try anything.

Yawning through the credits of their third movie she sees him turn the tv off and rummage through his dresser.

"What are you doing?" she asks while trying to stay awake.

"You're about to nod off any second now, there is no way in hell I'm letting you drive like that. Get changed, you're sleeping here."

To tired to argue she simply takes the shirt he tossed her and made her way to the bathroom to change.

Coming back to find him facing away, she sees him pulling up his flannel pajama bottoms.

Right over his bare ass.

Crawling under the covers she presses her face into the pillow in attempt to cool down her burning cheeks.

"Goodnight" she mumbles as she feels him crawling in on the other side.
