Chapter 3: Dinner and Drama Class Part 1

After that dramatic scene at lunch, I had three classes left. Algebra 2, Drama, and Physical Education.

The thing about Drama is I've always wanted to be an actress when I was little.

I would always be pretending to sing and act. When I was eleven, I learned how to fake cry.

But since the Janelle and Simon situation, I haven't really had the interest in it. Or anything.

What Simon and Janelle did, was pure shit. They made me only trust a couple of people. They made me forget what love truly was, because I thought I loved Simon. But, I guess not.

Well now I gotta push the bad thoughts away and go to Drama class.

I knew Rachel would be in this class. Same with Janelle and Allison.

Back in third grade, we made a pact that we would become famous actresses on TV together. But since that happened with Janelle, I totally forgot about it. Until now of course.

I tried to look around for other people I knew.

There was Vincent and.. Oh Jason is in this class. Yes!!!!!

Of course, when I walked over to him, he had already saved a spot. And also right next to me on the other side was Rachel. I think this is the best seat!!

"Hey Risa, as you can see, I saved this seat for you." Jason said with a smile.

"Thanks! It's perfect!! It's right next to Rachel too!!" I said with bursts of joy.

He pulled me closer.

"And also I wanted to put you up here so then you could stay away from Janelle cause she's back there with Keaton." Jason whispered.

"Thank you for thinking about that!!" I said.

"Hello class!! I am Miss Brady, and I am your Drama teacher. Obviously. Now instead of telling you stupid rules that you've already heard probably 5 times today, we are going to get to know each other. So what I want you to do is get in a circle, and then one person will go at a time, and we will tell everybody their name, why they did this class, their favorite musical/play, and what you like to do besides act. Alright get in the circle!!"

"I like this teacher!!" I said to Rachel.

"Me too!!" Rachel agreed.

So we got in a circle. Well an oval. Everybody knows that theatre kids can't make a perfect circle. I was standing next to Jason and Rachel.

"So who wants to go first?" No volunteers.

"Alright, fine. I will pick. The one with the pretty green eyes." She said.

Was she talking about me? I'm pretty sure I'm the only girl in here who has green eyes.

"Me?" I asked her.

"Yes you gorgeous. Now go ahead." She said sweetly.

"Hi I am Marisa Young but usually people call me Risa. I did this class because I've always had a passion for acting. My favorite musical of all time is "The Sound of Music" favorite play? "Romeo and Juliet."
