Chapter 4: This One Day

Heyyyy y'all. Again, I am very sorry. I've been going through a lot lately so please forgive me guys. I haven't been on my iPad in a week so I'm updating on my phone. Pleaseeeee forgive me and I hope you love this chapter as much as I do. (:

*THURSDAYYY*

*Risa's POV*

"And that is what we will be learning about throughout this year." Mrs. Drayer finished off. The bell rang and it was time for lunch.

Over the course of these few days, Jason and I haven't really been... Flirting. It seems like the total opposite. We're very sarcastic towards each other but he's still nice and all.

At lunch today, I just sat with the usual, yea you know who I'm talking about.

"Is there something wrong with you and Jason? Aren't you supposed to go on a date?" Allison asked quizzically.

That made me think of Tuesday night when Jason texted me:

Goodnight Beautiful.

That got me really happy and I pretty much didn't sleep that night at all.

I was just very excited that he thought I was beautiful. I mean, I've been called pretty and stuff, but never really beautiful.

"Oh yeah we're going on the date tonight, it's gonna be at 7:00."

"Text me what you're wearing Risa!"

Today, we kinda just split up the table evenly. Guys on one side, girls on the other. I'm guessing the guys were talking about football or something so they couldn't hear us.

"Hey guess what Risa?" Rachel said.

"The people who are in the creative writing class, me, our class is going to make plays up and choose the best one and then you guys are going to act it out for our winter show!!" Rachel said very exuberantly.

"Yes!!!! So what do you wanna write about Rachel?"

"How about a boy and a girl, and they used to date for a bit but it was kinda awkward so they broke up, and then the girl kinda likes him again and tries to win his heart back?"

"Nahh too, "chick flick type" you gotta have a little rom-com ya know?" I said.

"My life is like a romantic comedy. Except there's no romance and it's just me laughing at my own jokes" Allison said.

We laughed.

"So, what else could we write about?" Rachel said.

"Maybe about a girl who fell asleep on a plane ride and in her dream, she meets this guy, and the guy is falling in love with her and she's falling in love with him, and then she wakes up, and realizes it was only a dream!!" Tina explained.

Tina always has great ideas.

"That's an amazing idea!!" Rachel and I said at the same time.

"Alright guys, let's get to class." I said calmly.

"Hello everyone!!!! Today I have exciting news!!! For the next 3 months, we will be combining every other day with the creative writing class to work on a student-written winter play!!! So, one of the creative writing students will come up with it, and you guys will act it out!" Miss Brady said exuberantly.

"Here come the creative writing class!!!!" Miss Brady said.

Tina, Wesley, and a bunch of other kids I didn't know came into the room.
