How you meet

Steve McGarrett:  You and Steve went to school together; and both of your dads were partners. So on some days, you two would get picked up by John McGarrett or Chin Ho Kelly (if you and Steve were lucky, sometimes you'd get picked up by your mom Malia Waincroft or his mom Doris McGarrett). 

Danny Williams:  You've been a part of the HPD for years. You were getting assigned a new partner from the mainland. 'Great,' you thought. 'Some haole I've never met.' Just then, a short man with blonde hair and a tie came into your view. "You're from the mainland." You said. "Yeah how'd you know?" he asked. "No one wears a tie here on Oahu or in HPD," you said. He nodded and sighed. "I'm Detective Danny Williams from New Jersey." Danny said shaking your hand. "Nice to meet you detective. I'm Y/N McGarrett; I'm sure we'll get along just fine." You said. 

Chin Ho Kelly:  You had been recruited by your brother Danny and his new partner Steve to be a part of the governor's task force. How could you say no? More time to work and spend with Danny in this (and I quote straight from Williams himself) 'pineapple-infested hellhole.' The three of you went to the Marina, where Steve knew a guy that used to be a cop:  Chin Ho Kelly. Chin looked at you and smiled slightly. "Chin Ho." He said. "Y/N Williams." You introduced. And thus, the start of a great friendship and partnership. 

Max Bergman:  You were the new assistant M.E., and you were very nervous to meet your boss. When you stepped into the morgue, you saw a man with raven black hair and glasses just cleaning up a bit. "Y'know this is a morgue. I don't think it's supposed to be this clean." You said laughing. He jumped but smiled when he saw you. "You must be my assistant. I'm Dr. Max Bergman." He said shaking your hand. You smiled warmly at the doctor. "Y/N Noshimuri." 

Adam Noshimuri:  You and your twin sister Kono Kalakaua were on protection detail for Adam Noshimuri, son of Hiro Noshimuri (who at this time was the leader of the Yakuza before Wo Fat killed him) because Wo Fat had put a price on Hiro's head. You and Kono were inside the house, watching the son of the head of the Yakuza pace around. "Guess we haven't been formally introduced. Where are my manners? I'm so sorry. I'm--" "Adam Noshimuri. My sister Kono and I knew who you were when we took this assignment from McGarrett. I'm Y/N Kalakaua." You said smiling. Adam smiled as well, given the current circumstances.
