"Mr Leo Bautista, Ms Valerie  Sascha, come in."

"We did a DNA test, after hearing her not knowing who her real father was."

"We found her just at a convenience store all by herself, crying."

Leo heard about the news, a girl who was claimed to be his daughter, his ex's daughter. He remembered about the incident years ago, causing his eyes to swell up with tears.

Vlad squeezed his hand in comfort, giving him a look that said 'I'm here.'. She didn't want Leo to cry. She wondered who this girl was. She didn't know as much as Leo, so she was honestly curious.

Leo rubbed his eyes, voice croaking. "Shit, I don't want to know what that bitch did to her."

"Shh... it'll be okay. I'm right here." she comforts him, trying to keep him from crying.

He stopped himself from crying, sniffling as he did. The agents brought both of them in, only to see a girl who slightly resembled Leo. Black hair, tan skin, and almost the same facial structure.

Vlad quietly studied her features, feeling her motherly side itching to come out. She could see every bruise, every scar, everything.

The girl began to speak in Spanish, her voice cracked as she spoke,

"Papa, is it really you?"

Leo observed her, on the verge of crying as he saw everything which his ex left a mark on. He began to respond to her question in Spanish as well,

"Tell me, what has your mother done to you?"

The girl replied, eyes now engulfed with tears, sniffling.

"I-I don't really want to talk about it-"

Leo interrupted her, comforting her, tears flowing through his cheeks.

"Don't worry, if you don't want to talk about it since it'll make you uncomfortable , then we won't talk about it,"

"We'll take good care of you."

Vlad couldn't understand a word, but listened anyways. Once they were done talking and had wiped their tears away, Vlad tried to talk with the child.

"παιδί, child, do you speak English?" She asked, hoping that the girl would say yes.

She nodded slightly, beginning to speak in English, a slight accent can be noticed,

"I know little bit. Not good though."

"Don't worry, I'll teach you." Vlad smiled, before asking. "What is your name?"

"Yazmin."

"Nice to meet you, Yazmin. My name is Valerie, but my nickname is Vlad."

Vlad was pretty good with children, despite looking like someone who hates kids. She kept her tone gentle, calming, and motherly.

She smiled slightly, a bit shy to talk to her new parents. Leo kneeled over to start a conversation with her, both speaking in fluent Spanish.

Meanwhile, Vlad decided to talk with the agents, finding out the other details about Yazmin as well as what they need to do before she can stay with them.

Leo and Vlad walked to the apartment, Yazmin on Leo's shoulders while Vlad carried the girl's bags. The male somehow got her to sit there, glad that it was easy. Vlad watched the two of them, looking at how similar they were.

"Here we are, Yazmin, your new home," Leo smiled at his daughter, still a bit nervous since he needs to have the responsibility as he was going to be a dad.

Yasmin's eyes lit up, in awe of the average-looking apartment. This was much better than the other apartment she used to live in!

Leo looked at his daughter, smiling as he saw how fascinated she was. Vlad was pretty thankful that they had decided to clean the place up earlier.

Leo plopped Yazmin on the couch, then sat beside her.

"So, how'd you like your new home?" He asked her in Spanish.

"It's nice." Yazmin responded timidly. "Better than my old home."

"Do you want anything to eat?" He asked again, holding the T.V remote.

"Yes, if it's okay."

"So, what do you want to eat? We've got some food stocked up in the kitchen if you want, I'll get some for you."

As the two conversed in Spanish, Vlad decided to fix the guest bedroom they had for Yazmin. She placed the other bags down on the bed. She made sure everything was organized and comfortable for the little girl.

Leo came back with three microwaved Mac &' Cheese on both of his hands and placed them on the coffee table.

Yazmin shifted on the couch while Leo went to get something. She decided to get her notebook from her backpack, doodling quietly with her pen.

Vlad comes back from the room, seeing Yazmin's drawing notices this and smiles.

"You're really good at drawing." she says quietly, as to not scare the poor child.

"Thank you, you are kind." Yazmin smiled, replying timidly.

Leo came back from the kitchen with at least three spoons on his hand, handing them to both Vlad and Yazmin.

They took the spoons and began eating, Vlad letting the other two talk in Spanish as she ate.

As they ate, Leo switched the channel to a movie channel. Both Leo and Yazmin were focused on the television, both eating slowly as their eyes were glued to the screen.

Vlad glanced at the two, seeing their eyes widen when Pocahontas came on. She snickered quietly.

Both Leo and Yazmin reacted in the same way in almost all of the scenes, which was a weird coincidence.
