The faint sound of whimpering was emitted from a corner in the dark room. The noise was coming from a small girl who had a white blanket wrapped around her. The girl had pale white skin, bright blonde hair, and her eyes were multi-colored. Her left eye was amber colored and her right was bright blue. Beyond the crying of the girl, you could hear the screaming and fighting of the girl's parents.

"Don't you dare touch her again! I'm leaving and taking her with me weather you care or not," said the mother, "She isn't crazy! She has nothing wrong with her except the fact you keep abusing her and telling her she is, Nathan!"

"I don't abuse her Lori, I discipline her for being a bad child! If you really want to take her fine, but you'll have to go through me first!" The father said about to burst with anger. Lori tried getting past the man but he wouldn't let her through. He kept pushing and shoving her back until he let his anger over take him. He dragged her inside and threw her against a wall.

The girl was scared for her life but all she could do was sit in the corner and hide. Lori kept fighting off her husband until she saw him run to the kitchen. She knew he was going to kill her so she made a run for the girl's bedroom.

She burst in trying to find her daughter but failed to do so. "Ashbelle! Where are you?!" She kept calling out. When she gave up her search she went to run to another room, only to be confronted by her husband. He was bearing a large kitchen knife.

"Lori dear... we didn't have to do this but I can't risk you making me go to jail." He stepped closer to her clenching the knife. She was trembling and trying to back away until she tripped and landed on the floor. He rushed towards her and jammed the knife into her gut. Lori let out a blood curdling scream as blood trickled from her body. One of the neighbours heard the scream and called the police.

Nathan tried to silence Lori's screams but he knew someone had heard them. He repeatedly stabbed her until her body became limp and lifeless. He went looking for his daughter who was trying to keep quite even though she couldn't stop crying.

The sirens were getting louder by the second. Nathan gave up his search and ran for it. He ran out the back door and slammed it. Ashbelle came out of her hiding place in the hallway closet. She crawled toward her mother's bloody body. Ashbelle gasped and cried even harder.
