The day went by slow. The classes Ash had seemed too easy and boring. Her math class was easy and her literacy class was even worse. Minutes ticked by while listening to one of  her teacher's rant on about something she already knew. Occasionaly she did learn something or she helped someone. Everything was this way until sixth hour.

Ash was very excited, for this was her orchestra class. She hurried with her cello and Avery had to keep up. The moment they got into the classroom Ash seemed dissapointed. There were few instruments to be seen and only a handfull of kids were there. Avery looked at Ash and she knew she was dissapointed.

"Ash everyone is out because most of them are in a meeting with Mr. Roy. There are no instruments because they are put up in the storage room." Ash's face seemed much happier now. She pulled out her cello and tuned it with Avery. She couldn't wait for teacher to come. Music was her favorite thing in the world. It let her escape from the pains of reality into a world where only hapiness existed. A door on the other side of the room opened. About 10 kids streamed through, followed by a taller gentleman.

"Hey Ash!" said Sebby. The girls chatted for a bit before Mr. Roy noticed Ash. "And who is this? I dont believe we have met." He said couriously. " Im Ashbelle Jewel Faye. I am a transfer student from an online school sir. I love music and more importantly I love making it." His face lit up with happiness. "What instrument do you play?" Sebby looked like she was going to burst out with her long list. "I play many instruments. I play cello more often though." "I hear you are very good but we must prove that before we can let you join the advanced orchestra."

She picked up her cello, "What should I play?" He looked over to one of the other cellists. He grabbed the sheet music that the guy wasn't using and handed it to her. She sat in front of a stand and started to play it. She had a few mistakes but did it pretty well other wise. Mr. Roy was impressed. After a bit she attracted attention. He asked her to play a few more before he went back and announced her to the class.

Right after the class had ended and she had packed up, she was following Avery to put her cello away in a safe place. She as they were heading back one of the cellists that was sitting next to her had come up to her. "Uhm.. Hello? I just want to say you're pretty good for a home-schooler." He said shyly. Ashbelle blushed, "Thanks. I really like the way you play too." Avery saw what was going on so she backed out. "Well, it was nice to meet you," he said nerbously, "If you have time do you think you could hang out with me at lunch?" Ash was shocked. On her first day it seemed like a guy already liked her. "That would be amazing, thank you." They both blushed and parted ways.

Avery came back to Ash and winked. "Did he ask you to marry him?" She joked. "No Ellie, he just asked if I could have lunch with him." Avery had a smirk on her face, "You should go to the Halloween dance with him, thats if he asks." Ash blushed, "Wh.. Why would you say that? I just met him... Besides he probably wouldn't." Avery was dissapointed in what Ash just said, "Just keep it in mind. Its a constume party so you can be what ever you want."
