John and Mae were sitting by the cliffside over looking there small town by the ocean in Ireland. The couple have known each other for awhile. There friends set them up on a blind date. John was ready to spend the rest of his life with his lovely lady.
She was his everything. Her long brown wavy hair with her bright green eyes matched her personality. John was Mae's everything. His ginger hair and blue eyes with his ginger beard and square jaw line matched his big heart.
The cliff that they were on was the cliff that they had their first picnic at. It was a strange date but it worked out at the end.
John looked over at Mae and stood up and said "Mae, no one could give me more than what you gave me."
"What is that?" Mae asked.
"Your heart." John said
John then got on his right knee and said
"Mae you have made me a new man. A man I always wanted to be, but could never do it on my own."
"And what kind of man is that John?"Mae said
"A happy one. Mae my love, Will you marry me?"
Mae was about to start crying tears of joy and replied "Of course I will because I love you."
(Okay so I know that's kinda cheesy, but I want a romantic relationship in a book like a romantic drama. Just want to hear your thoughts on that. The idea came up because I watched Brooklyn and cried. I think it would be fun writing something like that not exactly but similar.)
