Chapter 53

*Outside* *Night*
*Third Person P.O.V*
The three friends run across the wet ground fill with puddles.

*Inside Hagrid Hut*
Knock...Knock...

Hagrid stopped what he was doing and went on over to the door, wearing an apron along with holding oven mitts.

Door Open

Hagrid see Emily, Alex and Melinda standing there.
"Oh hello. Sorry, don't wish to be rude but I'm no fit state to entertain today" Hagrid told them and begin to close the door.

"We know about the Philosopher's Stone!"

Hagrid open the door fully again, "Oh" he said and step aside, allow the three to enter the hut.
"Welcome to me home,you three" Hagrid said as the three see that it has only one room inside the hut.
There are hams and pheasants hanging from the hut ceiling, with a fireplace and a massive bed.
"It's small, but still roomier" Hagrid as Emily, Alex and Melinda sat down.
"Hagrid, we think Professor Snape trying to steal it" Emily said.
"Snape? Blimey, Emily. You're not still on about him, are you?" Hagrid asked.
"Emily right, Hagrid" Melinda said.
"Snape after the stone, but we don't know why?" Alex told him.
"Snape is one of the teachers protecting the stone. He's not about to steal it" Hagrid tells the three of them.

"What?!"

"You heard right" Hagrid said.
"Wait a minute, one of the teachers?" Melinda asked.

"Of course!"

All three turned to Alex, "There are other things defending the stone, aren't there? Spells and enchantments" he asked.
"That's right" Hagrid answered as he sat down.
"Waste of bloody time, if you ask me. Ain't no one gonna get pass Fluffy" Hagrid told them.
"Heh, not a soul know how. Except for me and Dumbledore" Hagrid said with a laugh.
But Hagrid realise what he told them, "I shouldn't have told you. I shouldn't have told you" he mumble to himself.

Rattle

The four turned and looked to see the fire in the fireplace started to rattle.
"Oh!" Hagrid said as he hurry over to the fireplace and picked something up with his gloves.
"Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh!" Hagrid exclaimed as he came back to the table and put the...egg on it.
"Uh, Hagrid. What exactly is that?" Emily asked him.
"That? It's a...It's um..." Hagrid try to explain himself but can't get his words out.
"Wait a minute, I seen this one before. But Hagrid, how did you get one?" Alex asked him.
"I won it, off a stranger I met down at a pub. Seemed quite glad to be rid off it, as a matter of fact" Hagrid explains to them.

Rattles

Crack

*Gryffindor Tower:Girl's Dorm*
*Sienna P.O.V*
I open my eyes and pull myself halfway up, to see that it was night time at the moment.
I see Lavender and Parvati sleeping in their beds, but no sign of Emily.
I realise something and pull the bed cover off of me before getting out of bed.
Put on some shoes and quietly walk over to the door, not waking her two friends.

*Corridor* *Third Person P.O.V*
Sienna walking down the corridors until she bump into something and fell onto the floor.
She looks up see Draco Malfoy standing in front of her.
"What you doing here, Sienna?" Draco asked her as he hold out his hand.
"None of your business, Draco" Sienna told him as she took his hand and he pull her up.
"You shouldn't walk about at night, you will get into trouble" Draco said to her.
"You too. Anyway, what are you doing here at this hour?" Sienna asked him.
"None of your business, half blood traitor" Draco said and Sienna sign, shaking her had before walking away.
"Where are you going?" Draco asked her.
"Away from you" Sienna said as she match off, Draco smiles.

*Hagrid Hut*
All of the pieces of the egg flew off and an Dragon emerges.

Squeak

"It's...It's" Melinda stumbled.
"A dragon" Emily said.
"But not just a dragon, it's a Norwegian Ridgeback. I know about these, my older brother works with these Romania" Alex said.
"Wow!" Melinda gasped in amaze.
"Your older brother works with dragons?"  Emily asked him.
"Yes, my brother Chalice is studying dragons in Romania" Alex replies.
"Isn't he beautiful? Oh. Bless him, look. He knows his mummy" Hagrid said with an smile.
"Hehe. Hallo, Norbert" Hagrid greeted him.

Squeak

The dragon looks at Hagrid, "Nobert?" Emily asked him.
"Yeah, well, he's got to have a name, doesn't he?" Hagrid said.
"Don't you, Nobert?" Hagrid asked the dragon, raises his fingers back and forth across the chin.
The dragon back away slowly and...

Hiccup

The dragon Nobert suddenly blows a small fireball of fire and it hits Hagrid's beard.
"Ohh! Oooh, ooh, ooh, well" Hagrid said over and over as he tried to put it out.
Alex got his wand out and cast an extinguishing spell to put out the fire.
"Thank you" Hagrid thanked Hagrid.
"I think you need to trained him up a bit" Melinda told Hagrid.

Snap

"Who that?" Hagrid asked and the three turned to look at the window.

"Malfoy" "Oh, dear"
