Abel's body froze in shock, how could they do this to his beloved. The new revelation shock him to his core, he suspect something suspicious within the kingdom. Abel knew royals were worse than a pirate like himself. His suspension lack of evidence, only then he could watch Silva for afar.
Anger boiled within, such hatred slowly consume him. Why now? Why must Silas choose this very moment to reveal the truth. If only he told him sooner, Abel wouldn't risk the lives to those he care about. His mother and sister captured and prisoner from his decision. Silva prisoned and lied to by a family that isn't is blood.
Abel wondered what debt King Joel owed to. What bought him to his weakest point using someone so inoccent. The selfish bastard didn't think twice using Silva for his selfish reason. Who can be more powerful than King Joel for him to be determine to lift the debt?
"Why now? Why must you tell me this now? I put everyone in danger because of me. I forced Silva to flee ignoring his pleas and even convincing my men to help him escape. They knew the dangers and yet I ignore them as well. My mother and sister captured because of me, their fate is now in my hands. I don't know whether Silva and my crew is alive or not. I would of done things differently" said Abel.
Silas shamelessly look away from the man he loves. It tore his heart seeing him look so helpless. The strong stubborn man he come to love is now a stranger standing before him. Indeed, Abel have every right to be angry. Silas should of told him sooner, he should of told Silva.
"There's no excuse for my actions, I cannot prove what I heard is correct. Guards are known to spread false rumours so I didn't take it seriously. I now realise what they spoke is the truth. I should of express my concern to you and Silva. I too is afraid for his safety and I am afraid of yours as well" Silas replied.
Abel admire the view, he imagine Silva smiling and admiring such beautiful view. Seeing the salted water, Abel could feel his happiness. The ocean is his freedom, Silva wanted to be part the sea. Abel think back to their childhood, he remember meeting his beloved for the first time.
Abel ran towards the garden, his grin widen hearing the distress call from his father's butler and maid. They were in charge to entertain him and keep him close to his parents.
Abel is known for his rebellious ways, his mother would always compare him to his father. Abel rather explore the kingdom than be forced to hear his parents conversation with the royal family.
Abel didn't understand the importance of the event. The little lad care more of his newly adventure than the evening. Abel was amazed with the colourful garden, he could name a few he learnt at school.
"Master Abel, where are you" the maid said. Abel walked further into the garden, he didn't expect a garden to be this huge. His mothers garden surely isn't massive as this one. The young lad observe every plant he could see admiring the colour. Satisfied with his little adventure Abel proceed to return to his father until a sound caught his attention.
Its a sound he couldn't ignore, Abel followed the sound leading to a small looking shack. Hesitate at first Abel grab the nearest stick for protection, the door creaked revealing small boy curled into a ball crying. The cries grew louder, the boy hadn't notice Abel is standing in front of him.
"W-Why are you crying?" Abel asked. The boy yelped in surprise quickly wiping his tears. The young boy looked surprised and quickly replace it with anger.
"Who are you? And what are you doing here?" He asked.
"I heard someone crying" Abel responded. The young lad couldn't look away from the beautiful boy before him. Never in his life did Abel question his sexuality, he doesn't under his emotions. The boy dressed in expensive clothing, Abel knew he belonged to an important family or a royal perhaps.
"Why are you crying?" Abel asked again.
"None of your business, g-go away" cried the boy. Abel wanted to understand his frustration and sadness.
"It's okay to cry, Mama always tell me crying helps you heal" said Abel. He doesn't understand why he's talking to this boy. His parents must of notice his disappearance, his father may refuse to him to be in his ship as punishment.
"Papa said crying is a sign of weakness so I cry here sometimes" the boy replies.
"Its okay to cry, crying doesn't make you weak" Abel said. The boy look at Abel amazed, no one would dare to say something like that to him let alone speak to him. The boy felt lonely and unwanted within his family. He wanted to be loved and cherished like his brothers.
"W-What is your name?" He asked. Abel smiled, its a smile the young boy will never forget.
"Abel, And yours?" Abel replied. He waited for a response, the boy looked afraid and hesitant to reply.
"Silva" he said. Abel wanted to stay to speak to Silva but the angered calls from his father stopped him doing so. He bid his goodbye promising Silva he'll return. Silva didn't believe Abel at first until the following week the boy met with the rebellious lad once again. Their relationship grew, Silva and Abel were eager to meet again. Soon after Silva's knight Silas came into the picture. The three little musketeers became unseparable.
