Winter-

I walk home from work in the dark.

Did I really just give a guy my nane and number? I think in my head.

God, what if he actually texts or calls me?

I get to the apartment building and take the elevator to the 3rd floor. I open the door to our apartment number 47.

Theres a note on the kitchen table from my mom, working late Autumn is down at Margrets apt. Can you get her when you geg home? Theres food in the fridge, love you see you when I get home.

I put my bag in my room and take the elevator to the 2nd story to get my 3 year old sister Autumn.

I knock on Margrets door, she answers, "Come on in Winter!" I walk in and Autumn runs around the corner.

"Winty!" She yells running into my arms, I pick her up and give her a kiss on the forehead.

"Thanks for watching her!" I say as I take Autumn back home.

"Want some Ravioli?" I ask putting setting her in a chair at the table. She nods her head.

I heat up some Ravioli for us and set it at the table.

"Thanks Winty!" She says eating the food.

"You're welcome, whatd you do today?" I ask.

"We went to the park, whens mummy coming home?" she asks.

"Around 8." I look at the clock its 7:50.

I watch TV with Autumn until mom gets home and puts her to bed.

"Night mum." I say walking to my room.

I scroll through social media for awhile.

He probably won't even text me. I say to myself.
