When my 25th College Reunion rolled around last year, it was a time for me to reflect about my life, past and present. One of the the things I realized was that while I once considered myself a writer, I had not, since my graduation, written a single piece of prose.
And I vowed to start writing again.
So it seemed appropriate that my story inspired by my college reunion should be about a college reunion. Shifting back and forth from present to past, it tells the story of a college relationship gone horribly awry and the attempt to set it right again, after a fashion, twenty-five years later.
Some of the content is true. But most of it is not, the product of alteration, fabrication and flawed memory.
I hope you enjoy it. And I look forward to your comments and criticisms.
