I'm Aaron Rubicon!

Well, actually, I'm not. Aaron Rubicon is a "pseudonym" (which is a Latin word meaning "lie") that I adopted when I joined Wattpad for reasons I can no longer remember. I guess I thought it sounded all writery 'n' sh*t. 

Anyway, my real name is Joshua Sternin and I am a two-time EMMY AWARD-nominated (and two-time WATTY AWARD winning) comedy writer whose career (so far) spans twenty-five years. My credits include some of the most beloved sitcoms in the history American television (THE SIMPSONS, THAT '70s SHOW, 3rd ROCK FROM THE SUN, MURPHY BROWN). I also Co-Created the critically acclaimed THE REAL O'NEALS, but not necessarily on purpose. 

I've also planted my flag (which sounds kind of dirty, when you think about it) in the animation world. I've worked on numerous projects, including the international hit RIO as well as writing/producing/developing 2012 TEENAGE MUTANT TURTLES. At the moment I am trying my hand as a drama writer writer on Netflix's RAISING DION (starring Michael B. Jordan whom you might recognize from a little indie film called Black Panther) which will premiere in early 2019. 

Of course, it hasn't all been smooth sailing. Lord knows, I've had my share of stinkers. A Jenny McCarthy sitcom. The YOGI BEAR movie. A Razzie nomination for worst screenplay for SURVIVING CHRISTMAS. And there was that irredeemable piece of sh*t called FAMILY TOOLS. Dark times, my friends. But somehow I have the strength to keep going.

I'm a f***ing hero, is what I'm saying.

In the rare instances when I'm not writing, I spend my time studying the martial arts, drinking wine with my wife, rooting for the Dodgers and masking my profanity with asterisks.
