||First Day Back||

Ring! Ring!
I woke up to my phone ringing. It was 4:30. Who was calling and why were they. I picked up my phone not caring about the caller id.

"Hello?" i rubbed my eyes and sat up.

"Can you please come over? I'm really pissed and I just need you here." cried Nathan.

"Nate we have school soon. By the time I get there, your parents are gonna be getting ready. What happened?" I sat up.

"Please baby sawyer." he whispered. He always calls me baby sawyer, he's been calling me that since we were 10.

"Ok fine i'll be there in 10." I hung up and grabbed my shoes, phone, and school clothes.

"Where are you going?" Hayley woke up.

"Nathan needs me. But you'll be fine. Your clothes, shoes and backpack is over there. I'll see you at school ok?" I closed my room door and silently walked past Peyton's door to try and not wake her. I grabbed my keys from the bowl near the door and walked out to my car. When I got to Nathan's house it was around the time his parents get ready for work so I parked a few houses down and went to Nathan's room window. I threw a few pebbles at his window and  he saw me so he went to the back door and let me inside. We tried to be as quiet as possible, since his stairs were kinda loud. When we got to his room he slammed the door.

"I can't do this with my dad anymore baby sawyer." he was pacing back and forth. It wasn't anything new to me seeing him like this. He often called me and told me to come over or he would spend the night at ours because of his dad.

"What did he do this time?" i sat there and let him explain.

"Nahyeli he's a terrible man. Him and my mom yelling at each other. My moms taking pills. My dad threatens her. Its all just too much. I woke up to glass shattering. When I went downstairs my dad ran out the door and my moms hand was covered in blood. I tried to help but she pushed me away because of the pills." a tear ran down his face. I've never seen him this sad about anything.

"Hey if you need someone to stay with you tonight I'll stay here or you can come to my house and just sleep in my room." I reached for a hug. He nodded his head and buried his face in my neck. We were like this for a few minutes, when I finally decided to glance at my phone it was 5:40. I still needed to take a shower and get dressed. It was the first day after all so I need to dress to impress. I checked to see if Nathan was asleep. He looked up at me with a little cheerful eyes.

"Nate i'm happy you're awake, but I need to take a shower and so do you." I cupped his face in my hands. I just wanted to give him one kiss. Just one. I slowly went down to his face and gave him a little kiss on his forehead. "You'll be ok Nate. Its the first day be happy ok? If anything happens you know I'm here for you." I gave him another hug and went to go take a shower. When I was done, I was just about to take my towel off when the one and only Dan Scott walked in.

"Oh I didn't know my son still hires prostitutes." he sarcastically laughs.

"Well hello to you too Mr.Scott." I slowly walk to Nathan's room door.

"You know what sweetheart, just tell me how much you cost and I'll pay all fees." he reached for his wallet.

"You little son of..." Nathan walked out of his guest shower wearing his towel at his waist. Man oh man. That boy was a hottie.

"Dad she isn't a prostitute. Its Nahyeli Sawyer. Peyton's little sister. My best friend since we've been 9." He shoved past his dad and slammed the door in his face and locked the door. "Hey I'm sorry he bothered you. You know you didn't have to come right?" He slipped his shirt on.
